Olive Lebanese Eatery Express - Reston — Restaurant in Virginia

2 Stars for Food, 0 for Delivery/Service. Long story short, placed my order for 12:45pm delivery. When the food hadn't shown by 1:00pm, I tried calling the location several times only to have it go straight to voicemail, but could not even leave a voicemail because the mailbox was full. At 1:15pm, I finally decided to go directly to the restaurant to see what happened to my order - when I was about 5 minutes away from the restaurant, I get a text from my colleague saying the food had finally arrived at 1:25pm. I understand no one is perfect, but considering I couldn't even call a working phone number to speak with someone to try and resolve the situation, I will say I definitely will not be back. Great food and wonderful staff. Our office will order from here for lunch or go there to pick up because it's so much better than the cafeteria in our own building. The place is usually really busy around lunch. The prices are great and each meal that I've ordered comes with a little salad that has an olive in it ("Olive Express" I guess). The panini's are good. I especially like the turkey and cheese panini and the portabella mushroom panini. I would also suggest trying out the falafel platter and the chicken shawarma platter, though a few times the chicken in that was a little dry. I would not suggest the steak - I tried the combo shawarma platter once which included steak and the quality of the meat was not as good as the rest...

Place is very stingy on portions. I am by no means fat, huge, or anything like that, I am fit. I ordered the platter twice now. I received maybe 5-6 pieces of thinly sliced chicken, literally about two-three bites of rice. They did not add the jalapenos I requested. And then bread and a scoop of hummus. For close to 9 dollars I'd at least expect portions equivalent to other places. Compared to a Cava Mezza this place is subpar. Will not go again.
