Tequila sunrise , trashcan with 1 extra shot of vodka, & fries with cheese and Cajun seasons. 60$ left a10$ tip so made it 70$ wasn’t expecting to spend this much. We are from out of town where we are from which is a pretty big city even the upscale places won’t charge this much for that. But hey there prices we should have interrogated before ordering 2 drinks and a fry. Almost forgot to add a woman I talked to majority of the night asked me a few times to get me a drink another of what I had (trashcan) I declined several times, the last time I said sure okay . When the bartender came over our way she ordered a beer and another of what I had. I told her Thankyou and how I really appreciated it. Bill came. I asked her did the bartender add it to hers because she did tell me she was paying for it. I thought maybe he charged me by accident for it. She chuckled and said the bartender was like a little big brother to her and “he knew better”than to add it hers. I was appalled…shocked. He added it to my bill but she ordered it out of her mouth and the fact she knew he was just going to add it to my bill anyways…after offering so many times to get me another drink….& we literally talked all night… Weird vibes… also Hope the bartender is the owner and was able to pocket all of tonight’s money. I didn’t make a fuss. Still left a decent tip. My brother was equally surprised. They seemed cooled and we thought we hit it off with them…….,We weren’t rude but definitely should have read the reviews . The crazy part is I’m sure they’ll respond with something deflecting instead of accountability…. Only been here 1 time this is my honest experience of why when I am in the area I just will steer clear of here. Maybe for long time customers or people who live there it is the bar of the town but in my opinion for anyone unfamiliar with this bar Go somewhere where your money you spend is worth it. To start, this place needs a bouncer. We where there for 5 min, I ordered a mixed drink and it came right out. Then shortly after a drunk lady came stumbling in falling in the floor right next to our table where me and my wife asked if she was ok. She stood up and cussed us out. The bar tender then screamed at me and my wife for “asking” and told us we should leave. I did what an honest man should and asked to pay my tab. She took my card and proceeded to scream at my wife because the band was WAY to loud for the 8 people that where there. The lady then tried to fight my wife and I as we where leaving. After she held my card for 10 min screaming at the lady and my wife for no reason at all. After I finally got my card and receipt I was over charged. I didn’t not even bother I just wanted to leave. By the time we finally got out of the door the bar tender and “Tera” where outside screaming. Needless to say I will NEVER return. It’s a shame because the Hopewell one was one of our favorite date spots. I hate that places like this ruin it...

Terrible experience. We waited for over an hour before leaving. The server took our drink order and appetizer order and things came out pretty quickly. We were pretty much finished with out appetizers and she still hadn't come back to take our food orders. Meanwhile, she was serving other tables who came after us and bussing a table before we finally got her attention to take our orders. Waited. Waited. Waited some more. Still no food. At this point our kids are hangry, were hangry and done because at this point we've been there over a hour. We find our server and tell her we're leaving and we want the check for our appetizers, at which point she tells us we have to pay for all the food and take our food to go because it's almost ready. The "manager" she brings us literally looks like some random cook from the back, and is rude as we are explaining why we are leaving and want our checks for what we ate. 5 minutes later we finally get our checks for our appetizers and get to leave.
