Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Virginia

The lady behind the register at 4:45pm on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 was insanely rude to multiple customers. There was no need to be rude. To the customers in front of us, she yelled at the lady for grabbing the wrong cup and proceeded to do other things instead of give her the correct cup. When we got to the front we asked what chicken they had left and she said that one chicken. I asked is it a chicken breast for a sandwich or a tender. She said it’s a chicken. And I asked again what type it was so I knew which to order. She responded it’s chicken just look at it. I said I cannot see it like you can, I just need to know what chicken to order. She said it’s a chicken breast and I said ok, does that mean I can do a sandwich and she said no, we are out of sandwiches. And I said then how can I order it and she said you can’t. Horrible service from all staff except the manager and one employee.

My recent visit had me waiting FIFTEEN minutes just to place an order. The employees on staff saw and ignored my companion and I the entire wait.

The employee who was in the upfront area kept walking around, doing their cleaning, doing everything but bothering to pay attention to their customers. This is of course all after we had asked this same employee, "Are you open?" To which they replied "Yes" Then went on to ignore us.

When they finally get around to coming to the register, they didnt even say anything to us. The employee went about typing on the register, presumably logging on - only to leave to walk off to the side without a single word. They then got on their phone and were apparently asking for the login of whoever was on the register (made obvious to us then that it wasnt them!)

To say the least, I'm done giving them...

Details: Me and my fiancé visited this Popeyes around 2:54 PM on Tuesday 12/12/17. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter with coleslaw and my fiancé ordered a two piece combo chicken meal.
