The wife and I honestly did not enjoy our time at River’s Bend Grill. While the staff was very social and friendly, there were a few things that I noted while being here. As soon as you walk to the door, there’s a sign that says 15% gratuity is added to carry out orders. The food was honestly not that great. The first thing that the wife and I tried were the crab cake minis and the entire breading of this appetizer tasted burnt and was probably fried in really old oil. Next we had a Cesar salad that I forgot to take a picture of. The Cesar salad was good but the croutons were made from scratch and tasted horrible. They also tasted like they were fried in the same oil as the crab cake minis. The rivers bend punch and the shrimp&scallop alfredo were both kind of bland. The Alfredo was highly recommended but tasted like there was no seasoning on anything, just cheese, noodles, and shellfish. Another thing to note is that the menu had “market price” for not just the seafood dishes but also for some of the chicken dishes as well. This means there’s not that much consistency to pricing. The price can fluctuate everyday depending on the market. Safe to say, we will not be coming back to this establishment.

Let me start off by stating this is my first time here and reviewing as im eating.. Ordered the crab cakes with bacon cheddar fries(they forgot the chives) and broccoli with a "tree smacker" the drink had lots of flavor is is enjoyable. The food...crab cakes are a huge disappointment. Taste like old frozen fish amd have a terrible after taste....the fries and broccoli are great though! Servers are very friendly and polite! First impression on food is so so. Main dish is trash..middle school cafeteria fish sticks would of tasted better!!! BUT the sides are the redeeming feature. Had to drown the sides in salt and pepper as they had zero seasoning to begin with. Service is slightly hit and miss. When first seated servers are all over you. Once you order they are extremely scarce. I would return and give them a second chance to do better but at this point a 3 star feels like being generous at the moment.

Nice and clean place. Always in the neighborhood and decided to drop in. Glad we did. The waitress was so polite and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered crab balls and spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. Then for our entrees we had the shrimp and steak fajitas. The presentation was great , we decided upon that because someone beside us ordered it and it smelled so good. It was good but it tasted very bland and it had too many onions and peppers that were bland and over powered everything else. So I won't be ordering that again. But I did enjoy my experience there Because of our waitress and because of her I gave it 4 stars. The crab balls were a little burnt and the dip tasted like butter and cheese. But the staff were A++++

So my wife and I have heard nothing but good things about this restaurant and wanted to try a new place. Went for dinner on 12/23/22. Walked in and seemed like a nice mom and pop style shop, which is always a huge plus. The podium said please wait to be seated so we stood there. And waited. And waited. This was not peak busy hour, and granted maybe they were short staffed, but it was to the point where we thought of just leaving. Maybe leave a sign saying seat your self if that is the style, or maybe have a hostess that checks regularly. The waitress did finally arrive and was super friendly. Sat down, menu looks good and prices are great. Ordered the appetizer sampler with fried pickles, potato skins, onion strips, and chicken tenders. Everything looked good when it was sat down, but quickly found out that everything was on the brink of cold besides the chicken tenders. My theory is that everything was done besides the chicken so it just sat there. Fried pickles overall weren't bad. Potato skins were hard, chicken tenders weren't bad and the onion strips weren't terrible. Everything would have tasted a little better with some sort of seasoning, or even salt. The saving grace was the chipotle sauce, which was phenomenal. My wife ordered the house salad with chicken and I got the philly cheesesteak. I tried mine and it tasted...flavorless. Maybe the restaurant had run out of salt because the fries were also not seasoned, and that would explain the mostly flavorless appetizers as well. The worst part of the meal was my wife's salad. Not only did the chicken have no flavor, the entire salad was soaked with water. She picked up a piece of lettuce and shook it and we watched the water fling off of it. It was clear that they had taken the lettuce, put it under the sink, and then slapped it on the plate. When we got to go containers, the lettuce stuck to the plate because it was so wet. Overall, super disappointed with how many good things we have heard about this place. The only reason it got 2 stars was because the waitress was super friendly, and the chipotle sauce...

Food is good, I've eaten here before twice but usually get my food to go, but this last experience I dined in. My meal was spoiled because they allowed a customer to bring his dog into the patio/dining area to eat. The patio/dining area isn't big at all but it's cozy, breezy, and quaint and u can appreciate it on a nice day (and before anyone barks at me no this was not a service dog). I love all animals, but I feel there should be a separation between food, restaurants, and animals/pets, some people are cool with it, some people are not I just don't feel it's sanitary in my opinion. The dog was a long haired dog he was shaking, and scratching which only led to hair flying because this is shedding season for pups, and as I was eating the guy allowed the dog to poop like 2ft away in eyesight from where we were dining. The guy must've been a regular because the waitress came out and patted the dog and had a conversation with the guy before he ordered (do u really want your waitress to pay, scratch, and kiss a dog before she/he grabs your late and handles your food) and that's what ruined my experience at this restaurant on this day. Prior to this I had no complaints about the facility. If we can't smoke in a restuarant because it may affect other paying people who aren't comfortable with cigarettes, should we really be allowed to bring our four legged friends in?...

First of all I got here and I had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to seat me while there was nobody in this establishment. I saw at least 10 open tables just from walking in. I came here with my wife and 3 kids. Our hostess, Danika, was extremely rude and even slapped one of my kids on the wrist. She was a blonde teenage girl and had very long arms. She then told me she would spit in my drink if I didn’t leave a good review on Google. She took our orders which I thought was weird for a hostess to do. We also had a waiter come and try to take our order but we informed him that someone had already taken it. Danika comes back almost 25 minutes later and tells us that she forgot to give our order to the cooks. We are extremely upset but we ordered again and our food came out almost and hour and a half later. We never got refills on our drinks and I had to go up to the bar and personally ask for refills myself. When our check came she put everything that we ordered on the bill but twice. She ran my card 2 times and our outing ended up costing us $243.87. When i brought up the mistake she halfly apologized by saying, “My bad didn’t know you were cheap.” She then comped my meal but not my families and told us to have a nice day. So hey Danika! I’m utterly disappointed and shocked with your service. Whoever owns this establishment needs to...
