This once upon-a-time wonderful place to grab a quality bite to eat with an outstanding salad bar has fallen from its pedestal into the pit of well below average reheated microwaved former classics. The salad bar resembled a community compost box as I sifted through wilted and slimy mixed greens. As I moved further down the bar, I came to a bowl of what appeared to some sort of mystery meat melting into its own muck, I scooped a spoon full only to find the liquid had the consistency of a half set gelatinous mess slowly consuming the flesh above. Next on the salad bar of horrors was the classic broccoli mix, which on the surface seemed to be in order to consume, but I would later discover a rubbery texture that lacked any nutritional value. The dressings appeared to be abandoned for sometime, as there was a dull film forming a protective barrier for the liquid beneath. The only saving grace for the salad bar were the bacon bits and mozzarella cheese. As you can imagine, the salad was not very appetizing.
The main meals were the pot roast and the chicken and pasta. The pot roast was nothing more that a (1) two inch by one inch cube of meat strategically placed in the center of some assortment of corn, beans, and potatoes. Did I mention that the 2x1 inch cube of pot roast appeared to have survived an aging process by steam and osmosis flanked by a tosted cheese sandwich cut in half. To boot, the presentation was interesting, at best. Let's just leave it at interesting. The chicken and pasta looked appetizing, but after cutting into and eating the chicken, I noticed a granular texture highlighted by an abundance of creole seasoning. Not sure what that was about, but it too seemed like a reheated in the microwave hot mess.
I can honestly say, it felt as if the chef had no pride in the food prepared. Moreover, from the presentation and quality of food on the salad bar, the manager on duty failed the customers and the employees by not checking the simple things, such as the freshness of the items on the bar and appearance of the restaurant. I understand that COVID-19 took a toll on everyone, but such a gap between standards and quality, and the price customers pay should be addressed from the corporate level down to the dishwasher. I contend, unless significant leadership corrections are addressed, the quality and standards will continue on this downward trend. Giving this experience, and two other visits, I cannot in good faith recommend this once fantastic place to treat your family to anyone looking for a quality meal. Read moreWell, first I would like to say I have been dining with Ruby Tuesdays for many years and have had mostly good experiences. I used to eat there at least once a week. I took my parents to this location for dinner on September 18, 2018. I accidentally left my sun glasses at the restaurant. I called the following morning to inquire about my glasses. The person I talked to acknowledged they had my glasses, described them and even stated that I had left them there the night before. So, I got in my car and drove over an hour to go get them. When I got there the hostess went into the kitchen and then returned stating that the glasses were there but now he was not able to find them. I asked to talk to a manager and Marcus came out. Marcus stated that if I had left them they would be in the safe and that they were not in the safe. I explained that his staff described the sunglasses to me and told me they were there. His only response was he didn't have them. He had a very poor attitude. I then stated that someone on his staff stole my glasses and his response was it could have been anyone. Really? Anyone? In my opinion hat was the wrong response. Never did he ask my name, phone number or a way to contact me. Clearly they were stolen and Marcus knows who did it. It was probably him. The poor hostess guy didn't know what to say. When the hostess guy was trying to say they were there at some point Marcus's body language was clearly wanting the guy to shut up. Marcus appeared to be very happy that I was upset. I sent two messages to Ruby Tuesday's corporate office and both times I receive an automated response that someone would be in contact with me. To date I have not received one contact from Ruby Tuesday's and it's been almost two months. Clearly they do not care about...
Read moreTook my uncle here for his birthday on 7/22/21, because we wanted a good burger and did not want to go any where fancy. Well let me tell you. Didn't think we would be dinning with the dogs, literally... This party literally brought their little dogs to dinner or for a play date. Literally when our appetizers arrive the group pulls out their little dogs and starts a photo opp filled with cute selfies with their dogs and group photos. Of course they had to end it with the customary kissing the dog in the mouth scene. Not to mention this table was eating from the salad bar and right next to a table with a family. For the record these were not service dogs. This was a group of ppl with little house/lap dogs, 5 in total. I was truly disappointed and honestly they should be shutdown for this unsanitary mess.
The kitchen was busy so the food was mediocre at best. The burger was dry and was delivered lukewarm at best. At this time, they are charging more money for less food and the options suck since the menu changed.
The waitress was struggling and only 3 were working. You had to ask her for everything at least twice and wait at least 10 to 15 minutes to receive it. They literally was so backed up from being at full capacity and accepting 3 restaurants food orders, they had to close their kitchen to incoming customers for 2 hrs. They did cancel a meal for inconvenience. Overall, it was disgusting. I will...
