You guys got it all wrong. I came here because I read about it in the news- and like any good nosy person, I knew I had to check it out for myself. I was greeted as soon as I got in by the nicest guy ever. They were on top of things, seated us and allowed us to take our time ordering. I got a big old cheese pizza and the garlic knots (because I read about them in another review). I asked the staff about the news story and I am on their side. They did make a mistake (who doesn't!) and tried to deliver a corrected order but at the wrong time. They are good people. The food was amazing, the place was clean and they aren't a bad company. Social media is biased and a good news story doesn't mean its got all the facts- it just means it has all the flame. The food was hot. The cheese pizza was amazing and the garlic knots had my tongue beating my teeth out to get another bite. The staff was SO friendly and admitted they messed up. The thing that sucks is that people are calling them and making fake orders. They had a fake order for over $200 bucks to a place that wasn't even local and another guy ordered and had them deliver it to the wrong address. These are people. They made a mistake, okay. Fine. Who hasn't. That isn't the way to treat anyone. They proved to me today that they are making it right and they have amazing food and I wish them all the best in life and in their business. Give them a chance. I swear you'll be happy you did.

We noticed the restaurant driving by and decided to try them. We decided on 2 steak and cheese subs and 2 fries. We asked for lettuce, mayo, tomato, and extra onion. The staff was very nice, although they had to come out from the back to help the poor cashier take our order. While we waited, we were given a free order of this fried dough like dessert, which was amazing. When we got home, we noticed we only received one order of fries, which were on top of the sub that it was with. So we had to get them off the sub, which was by that time all stuck in the cheese. Neither sub had extra onions. While i was impressed with the amount of meat both subs had, they totally lacked on toppings. In the photo attached, you will see the total amount of lettuce and tomato each sub contained- hardly any. We realized that it was on the bottom, but that was all that was in there. Yes the subs still were really good, and some may say we are being very picky, but amount of lettuce and tomato was almost comical. It's just that when you decide to treat yourself and spend the money to eat out, it would be nice to not only get what you paid for but to have the food a little more presentable than that.

We had a great experience at La Porchetta Kitchen yesterday, our very first time there. The atmosphere was laid back and no-frills on the floor, which is perfect for us. They saved the frills for the phenomenal customer service and the FOOD! Yall, the food. The veggies were fresh, every bite of bread (and pizza dough!) was fluffy inside with the perfect amount of chew on the outside. My first bite was of garlic bread, and I literally rolled my eyes at my husband because it was just THAT good. I don’t eat pork, and often have trouble finding spaghetti and meatballs in a restaurant that I can actually eat. Their meatballs are beef so I happily ordered it, and enjoyed it so much. We ordered a pizza to take home with us, but couldn’t help but try it while we were dining in, and I have officially found my new favorite local pizza place. On a personal note, speaking with the gentleman who served us, I shared the spaghetti sauce was as close to my brother’s as I’ve had since he passed. It was a nice moment between strangers where his empathy and compassion shined. My husband and I were grateful to contemplate the connection of community over dessert.

BEST PIZZA IN THE LAKE RIDGE, RIDGEFIELD, DALE CITY AREA! WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS! For years I have been looking for a non-large chain pizza place. I was looking for the traditional pizzeria, with good quality pizza, subs and salad, as well as first class service. After trying every pizzeria in the area, I was about to give up on my search when I found “La Porchetta Kitchen.”

Like in all my reviews I like to talk about service and food quality separately.

SERVICE. I have been at La Porchetta as least ½ dozen times in the past month. The service has been consistently EXCELLENT. This is a small pizzeria, and they offer, dinning-in, carry-out, and delivery through a third party. The dining area is a work in progress, since due to getting permits from the County and the Fire Marshall they are behind schedule preparing the place. Still is one of cleanest places I have been.

Food. OUTSTANDING! Like I said, best pizza in the area. I have tried their subs, specialty pizza, as well as the traditional NY Style Pizza. I had the “Steak, Ham & Cheese” and it was awesome. I had never tried adding ham to a steak and cheese, but I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. Another surprise was the way the sub was put together, the lettuce and tomatoes were put in the bottom of the sub followed by the meats. The bread was incredible, and it was big enough to hold all the “stuff.” I have attached a photo.

The Pizza. Of course, the star of the show. The first pizza I ordered, on my first visit, was a Supreme specialty pizza. The best way to describe is as an addictive orgy of flavors that makes you feel you are paradise. The combination of pepperoni, sausage, and red onions give it enough of a kick to keep you wanting more. Add the fresh mushrooms and the green peppers and you are eating what I consider an award winning pizza.

They also have in their menu NY Style Pizza. Yes, it tasted like REAL NY Style Pizza. I order a plain cheese NY Style pizza, and although it was an X-Large, it was so good I couldn’t stop eating. Yes, Me, Myself, and I ate the “whole thing.” Yes, I would like to hear from New Yorkers who try the NY Style Pizza. Is this a real NY Style pizza.

One final note. When you order carry out, they include grated parmesan cheese, and crushed Red Peppers packets....

Very dissatisfied with the food, delivery time, and customer service. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and via GrubHub. I placed a delivery order for a small pepperoni pizza, spaghetti and meatballs with linguini substitute (since the option was available), and it came with a side salad in which I chose balsamic vinaigrette dressing. After placing my order at 6:42PM, I received an ETA of 7:25 - 7:35. I didn't receive any further updates.

At 7:45 PM, I contacted La Porchetta to inquire about my food. The man who answered asked me my address first and states, "wow that's far, hold on." For the record I'm 5.5 miles from the restaurant according to Google Maps He takes me off hold and says, "we don't have it, it's left the kitchen." So, I clarified that my food was out for delivery. He says yes and ends the call. At 8:00PM, I contact GrubHub (Jorge) directly in which I was informed that this restaurant has their own delivery drivers. Jorge places me on hold to contact the restaurant. At 8:05PM, my food was delivered... I received regular spaghetti noodles instead of linguini and ranch dressing instead of balsamic vinaigrette. The spaghetti was horrible to say the least. It was very bland. I highly recommend you don't waste your money on it. However, the pizza was decent.

I was very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and how unapologetic this restaurant was and seemed to be more focused on my geographical distance. Not sure why they partner with GrubHub if they have their own delivery drivers and my area is not in their delivery distance.

This was truly not a good experience for me. Hope you all have a better...

I've been to La Porchetta 5 times now in the past month. Extremely clean interior (some Sub shops in Sterling area are disgusting inside). The employees are Very friendly. Their online ordering system works great. I've not had Delivery so I can't comment on that. Appetizers: I"m a French Fry connoisseur, and they have Steak Fries which are my favorite. I've yet to have any soggy fries (I've only done Carryout) Their Wings are excellent and now my go to Sub shop for wings. Always crispy and not over sauced. The Roasted Garlic are a bit overpowering, and I really like garlic. Garlic Bread knots are amazing and extremely garlicy but not overpowering. All their Appetizers have been great, never greasy, and cooked well.

Subs/Pizza: Sub I had was good. Pizza was also good. I'd say both items are In the same quality/taste category as Deli Italiano, Paisanos, Manhattan. I would put it slightly above Deli Italiano and definitely above Manhattan, and just about tied with Paisanos. However the only thing I like at Paisanos is their pizza, their Fries suck and other Apps are always soggy and really bland, and they seem to be skimping out on toppings/portions the past few years.

I think La Porchetta might be tied for my second Sub/Pizza restaurant in Dulles area, with Deli Italiano. I won't name my first as it is a non-delivery non-chain eat in Italian restaurant and would be unfair to compare. I definitely recommend dining in La Porchetta as it is extremely...
