I DoorDash and picked up and order for a customer it smelled so good there I thought I gotta try this place. Well very disappointed! I ordered a steak n cheese sub where hardly any meat, a whole onion cut up on it with lots of lettuce and an unripe hard tomato. I had to throw it away no flavor not even salt or pepper on it. I come from Italians and this is by far true Italian taste! The fried pepperoni I thought I would try and it was horrible literally tasted burnt over fried. I called and spoke to the manager not looking for a refund or food comp but to let him know so he can get on his kitchen staff. Instead he made every excuse in the book. Bad manager bad business because if u want to grow a manager should always take into consideration peoples complaints as positive feedback to only grow ur business and train ur staff. I quietly advised the waiter and he got me a new sub(which I had to take home to eat, due to my young kids already finishing their food). I asked to speak with the manager as we were leaving(and yes, we paid for all of our food… Including the sub), just to say how disappointing the whole situation was. When I advised the manager/owner of what had happened, he literally said, “We are all human, the hair could have just came from the produce we buy from somewhere else”. I let him know that I have been a restaurant manager and it’s definitely NOT ok to let a plate leave the kitchen with hair on it… He did NOT apologize or anything! Read moreI’m providing a review based off of customer service alone. When someone calls an order in, as a customer, we don’t want to hear why you can’t provide a service because you’re short staffed. That is not the customer’s concern and a turn off from eating at the restaurant. The website says “curbside” available. How is it the customers concern you’re short staffed. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that caring and being considerate can go both ways but the first thing out of the person’s mouth that took my order was her struggling to explain to me that curbside may not be available and appearing over the phone that she was uninterested in taking an order.
