April 15, 2024 - New to Virginia, heard about all the wineries & breweries. . . Let’s get started at Seven Arrows in Waynesboro🍺!
My wife & I stopped in for lunch on a Monday , service from Bartender Brandon was EXCELLENT! Since we had the tap room to ourselves, time to share stories.
Owners Aaron & Melissa Allen established Seven Arrows Brewery in 2014 . Adopted the Compass with am emblem that pays homage to Native American traditions . . .

I like Beer ! I’ve cooked beer years ago, so it’s great to taste an eclectic sample of beer styles. Kudos to your Brew Masters, I ordered up a flight of EIGHT , each very GOOD !
I couldn’t pick a favorite or best . . . each fits a desire. During summer I prefer the lighter beers, sometimes a fruity Hefeweizen or light Kolsch, Pilsner, or Gose/Lambic/Gueze. Going into fall, I’ll order a spiced IPA or lager. ( Pumpkin 🎃 usually) Then as the first frost appears it’s time for the Porters & Stouts !
I worked through my flight of beers:
Aurora Pilsner 6.5% Maelstrom Irish Red Ale 5.8% Falls Ridge Vienna Lager 5.5% SunDog Milk Stout 5.5% Hermanator Doppelbock 7.2% Alternate Timeline (new) 6.8% Blackout the Sun -Black Pilsner 5.7% Sour Grapes - Merlot 7.5%
All were crafted well, and fit my rotating seasonal preferences! Props to your Excellent Medal winners. . . Aurora Pils & Skyline Lager 🏅🏅
Oh, we did order from Nobos Kitchen , just a quick Shrimp & Grits lunch plate. It was satisfying. ( Boars Head Grill & Tavern in Savannah serves up the BEST Shrimp & Grits ) We’ll return and try new items at Nobos! 😃👍🏼
I strongly recommend sampling the 13 craft/draft beers at Seven Arrows Brewing Company, so many styles offered to please everyone. Bring your dog, enjoy the casual inside & outside...
Read moreSecond time visiting and still love it. They have $10 64oz growler fills...and cheaper 6 packs to go! And Shenandoah Beerwerks. Incredible beers. Nice bar and deck. Tvs up, nice people, my kind of place. And they have food! Anyway...to the beers Lager- great drinking beer. Not heavy, noble aroma comes clean thru. Light drinking clean aftertaste. Can drink this all day at 4.5% Pils- crisp and clean on the nose. A little dry on the palate. Perhaps a soft bitterness at 5.5% this is a wonderful summer beer. Apple lager- tartness is upfront. Like granny smiths hit the tongue. Mix of beer and cider not sure this is perfected. But happy with the attempt. Not my cup of tea. But like the creativity. 6% Braggot-honeymead & beer, not overly sweet, a nice depth of flavor. Aroma is pleasantly sweet, but not overwhelming. Flavor is malty and sweet combined. Great mix. Could really enjoy this on a fall night. 8.3% this gets the job done giggidy! Vienna lager- wonderful malty caramel goodness. Great aroma opens to smooth flavor. And lovely aftertaste. Its heavy, will fill you up. 5.3% is just about right. This could be my early fall choice. Malty goodness and i love it. Okfest-perhaps a seasonal best. Lovely aroma of caramel, hops and toast. Wonderful smooth taste. Love it. 5.3% very similar or the vienna, just a little more complexity of aroma & flavor.
Great job. Easy to find. Extremely knowledgable staff. Winner winner! Cant wait to return!
Back at it again, and new beers to try. Love this place. Trying the Kolsch, Wit, Black Lager, Milkstout & Dipplebock. Will keep coming back. Always 5 stars!
Back again. Always a pleasure! Wear your mask in the door. Amazing beers. Glad they made it thru. Best beer and best place to come! Love this place! And have to say one of the best brew tenders in...
Read moreThe beers are very interesting (in a good way ranging from kind of eccentric to a very standard Pacific coast style ale). As a couple we got both flights so we tried all of them. It also seems pretty inexpensive but that may just be where we been living. the waitstaff is very friendly and will educate you to whatever extent you wish including taking you back to see the brewery even in the evening.
The important thing for us is that there is now reliable and tasty food. we mostly wanted dinner and we just stopped by to see if there was going to be anything to eat. There is a restaurant that is sharing the building with them. it opened about a month ago. they can bring the food to your table in the bar after you order it at the counter in the "restaurant" (no tables I think). We tried the hummus, pulled pork, and build your own burger (in this case a grilled chicken breast) we liked all of it . It was light and tasty and the buns were particularly good. . I asked them their hours and I'm going to paste them directly in here. also tonight there's going to be free music but we may not make it quite that long.
Tuesday closed Monday through Thursday 4 to 8 Friday and Saturday 12 to 10 Sunday 12 to 8
