Si Señor 2 Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

Several years ago: Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food done right. As a Tejana, I'm homesick, being so far from Texas and its exceptional Tex-Mex. This certainly alleviates this situation!

Edit: May 14, 2025: The atmosphere has changed. We're usually very welcomed as we are a Spanish and Portuguese speaking family and this time it was met with low-key annoyance. There was another group that came in about half an hour or so after us and that same waiter was very attentive to them, making sure they were comfortable, whereas we had to beg for a basket of totopos. He was annoyed when he brought it to us. Our plastic glasses of water - which we also had to beg for, smelled awful like they had been cleaned in floor cleaner. Usually, we pay our bill at the table, but the waiter never returned, so they apparently don't do that anymore so be sure to pay at the front. This new location meets all the basic requirements of a reliable repeatable choice. The salsas are all very well balanced and flavored, prices are geeat and service is excellent!

I have enjoyed the Mojarra Frita 4 times now and I crave this dish once weekly! The dish is an entire deep fried tilapia - very juicy and fresh - very flavorful. For less than $20 you can get this entire fish, tortillas, guac salad rice and beans!

Ive been back to enjoy the fajitas as well. For the convenient location, affordable prices and value - I stick with this place solely when craving my weekly or bi weekly...

What A Great Experience!!! Was greeted promptly and seated promptly. The host took our drink orders. My wife had a Margarita, she said, it was on point!!! They served chips and salsa, and chips were like they had just come out of the oil, and the salsa was to die for. They took our order, and within 10 minutes, we had our food. I had the California burrito, and my wife had the Si Senor burrito. The food was excellent!!!!
