Mama Mia Pizzeria — Restaurant in Carrollton

I tried them out based on the reviews. I've had trouble finding a good place to eat a quick meal while working in this area. I ordered the medium pizza for carry out and added a topping and drink for a total of $9. Not bad considering the cost of a drive-thru meal. It was a very short wait in a friendly atomosphere surrounded by the aroma of rising dough. I believe the person I was speaking to was the owner/operator. He was very friendly and seemed to take pride in his work. The pizza I ordered was incredibly simple. I mean that as a compliment. The simplicity of the pizza speaks to the quality of ingredients. The crust was light and airy, the sauce was simple without any spices or seasonings being noticeable; both appear to be made in-house. I'm not in the area often but I will definitely be returning next time...

So I have been to this place a few times and it was great ! Customer service was always on point . This particular day I ordered a sub with fries and I called to ask if I could exchange them because they were a little dark and hard for my taste . I came in and the MANAGER takes the box, tastes them and tells me that they are perfect and if I didn’t Ike them I could go somewhere else !! I’m like what ?! I didn’t even argue with him because that was enough said ... I got my fries and left . I did like this place but I won’t be returning .. they don’t want my business anyway . If I can’t get my food the way I like it and then be told to go somewhere else because of it then that’s what I’ll do . It’s just a shame because I do like their food but I’ll find somewhere...

Not only were the prices more than the website/online, when I called to place my order the guy sounded like he was annoyed I bothered calling. I ordered a medium pizza with two toppings. When I got there I walked in and they were both on their phones, didn't bother saying hi or hello, when he told me it was $18 and some chnge. I looked at the board and everything was more expensive. I paid it anyway because the pizza was already made and I didn't want to waste food, but when I got it home (4 minutes away) it wasn't even cooked thoroughly. If it was an amazingly delicious pizza, I'd totally be fine with everything else. But it wasn't cooked.

Save your money and go across the bridge...
