I’m a frequent customer of this specific Starbucks and I normally never write any reviews but today’s event pushed me to. I walk in to get my usual expresso and noticed that one customer was having a heated conversation with one of the employees. This caused some of the drinks to be delayed, and the argument only escalated from there. My boyfriend came in and noticed the commotion and along with another gentleman, asked the man to calm down and leave. To our surprise, one of the employees (shorter guy with tattoos) asked us to “leave things as is and cut our shit”. I was shocked as they were in essence trying to defend this specific Starbucks employee as the guy was becoming very angry with him. Needless to say, my drink was then given to me and it tasted horrible. Starbucks is one of my favorite places for morning drinks, and management should be aware that this tatooed individual (I have witnessed him be on his phone several times and not really work like his colleagues) has a really bad attitude, cusses, and prefers to keep stirring up heated arguments rather than providing excellent customer service; something...
Read moreI'm glad this Starbucks is in walking distance to my house because it's one of my favorite Starbucks. There's a feeling of community here that you just don't see in many. The Baristas and counter staff are all very proficient and nice despite the onslaught of customers that come in seemingly every hour of the day, but especially weekend mornings. Lots of dog walkers sit outside with their dogs and like myself there are many neighborhood regulars who come here frequently. As I mentioned, the wait can be a bit long at those peak times when the line stretches to the door and sometimes practically out of it. During those times it can be very hard to find a table inside, so my recommendation would be to submit a mobile order so that you don't have to stand around for 10-20 minutes first to place your order and then to wait for it to be made - that is if you come between 8am and 3pm on Saturday or Sunday, or a national holiday for...
Read moreI was not needing an item of purchase last Sunday 09/20. I asked for the restroom code and was strictly denied. I understand why this is in place. However for a regular person with the app and is a frequenter of various locations being denied is hurtful and rude. There has to be an exception to the rule and the lady's judgement this time failed the brand in a massive way. I called the manager Julian, and he was extremely rude and put the phone down after I objected to him not providing me the area contact details. He thought it would be a good use of my time to drive from MD to VA and pick the card details up myself. This was a terrible and unforgettable Starbucks experience. Julian made it way worse.
