I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so out of line I had to say something. I visited this restaurant expecting a good meal and good service—what I got instead was disrespect, false accusations, and the kind of treatment no paying customer should ever have to deal with.

I was accused of stealing for absolutely no reason. No evidence. No explanation. Just immediate judgment and unprofessional behavior from staff that clearly don’t know how to handle themselves. Not only was I embarrassed, but the way it was handled was beyond offensive.

I came here to support a business, spent my money, and was treated like a criminal. I will never return—and I highly recommend others think twice before supporting a place that disrespects its customers this way. You don’t treat people like that, especially when they’re doing nothing but trying to enjoy a meal. Completely unacceptable. Mind you...

I haven’t actually sat down to eat but I sent my husband over to get some food. I’m from San Diego so I was missing Mexican food (taco shop style) and although I can cook it myself, I really wanted a carne asada burrito like ASAP. My husband said that the hostess wasn’t very welcoming and that they didn’t speak English and he speaks very minimal Spanish. Somehow our order got placed wrong and we ended up paying for double the amount of food (miscommunication). He asked how big the chimichangas were and I guess they thought it meant to double his order. The receipt doesn’t have a break down so of course he didn’t know until after we had the food. The burrito wasn’t great and the chimichangas were okay. We mostly checked this place out because of reviews and other people saying it’s the closest you’ll get to authentic. Maybe we will give it another...

Ordered a family meal for thirty something got a 1 and a half people meal. Looks bigger in the photo but definitely feeds basically my husband and leftover meat for me. Will be ordering again and giving second chance maybe just ordered wrong item. We shall see and I'll update review. But definitely will never order that again. Update: I went back with my family and ordered the gorditas, tamales, sopes, and tacos. It was much better. The food tasted great. It was just the portions of the platter that was disappointing. But this time around it was good. We ate inside an service and atmosphere was good as well. My husband and I love food so if u get us on your good side you'll have a faithfully customer that comes back constantly. But hey they definitely made up for the first time around.

This place is awesome! The most homey, authentic Mexican I’ve ever had!! Every time I go it gets better and better, and they keep blowing me away. The tamales are incredible, I was astonished by how much flavor they get into them. The gorditas are to die for - salty and fatty with a ton of juicy meat! And the tacos are all on point with the sauces too, however I like the Al Pastor or the A la Diabla the best. Rice and beans are awesome. Their Agua Frescas are soooo refreshing, and you can tell they make them very fresh. They’re incredible. And it’s all so cheap!! You can fill yourself up with more than enough food for $10! I cannot wait to go back, and to tell all my friends about it. So amazing.

This place was amazing. I feel like I struggle to find taco shops since I left San Diego. Good ones anyway. But Tacos Mexico was very good authentic Mexican food. Friendly service (although we got it to go) and the prices were taco shop prices. I was finally able to hold and eat my burrito, it wasn't covered in cheese sauce, or put on a plate with beans and rice on the side. I don't like soggy burritos. But Tacos Mexico was great. I got the carne asada burrito. My husband got the carne asada torta, and a pollo tamale. And we got the melon agua fresca to share. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend to anyone wanting good authentic Mexican food.
