Troy's Steak Subs & Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

I called at 6:58pm to make an order that would’ve been at least $25 and was told they closed in an hour and didn’t have time to deliver to Fairlawn bc all of their deliveries were going to Radford tonight. They’re literally a 5 minute drive away from my house and if I’d had a way to do pickup, I would have. This isn’t the first time that they’ve had some excuse to refuse delivery to me; it’s at least the 4th or 5th. And I don’t appreciate the fact that nearly every time I call, the man who answers is rude. I get that having a restaurant job isn't the most glamorous thing in the world. I’ve worked in many food service positions myself, but I feel like he hates dealing with customers and it shows. I’m tired of him treating me like I’m a bother and like it’s a waste of time to be polite to me. This establishment won’t be getting anymore of my money. I’ve given them a lot of it over the past 25 years, all for them to treat me like this...

Best cheesesteaks for 20 years around this area so my old lady drives all the way from Pulaski to Fairlawn to get us one each on special occasions! After taking two bites there's two white small facial/head hairs right in my sandwich beside each other. I haven't ever had this happen that's why we pay damn near 30 dollars for 2 large steak and cheeses and drive 15 min there and back to pick them up! my girl couldn't eat hers after she watched me pull the hair out! TROYS STEAK SUBS and PIZZA has THE BEST PIZZA in Fairlawn/Radford, VA, in the whole New River Valley of Virginia, & anywhere within at least 100 miles in Virginia. All subs are Awesome. The Specialty of the house is the Philly Chesse Steak sub, & a ton are sold every day. I LOVE the onion rings. They are the best around, & we get an overloaded boxful that won't close, except with rubber bands. Magde, the owner & originally from Greece, is Special, too.
