Yo-Mian — Restaurant in Virginia

Food- the food is amazing. The egg rolls are crispy and full. The spring rolls are light, airy, and crunchy. The rangoons are my favorite out of everywhere in Roanoke and surrounding areas. They are tiny little pockets filled with crab and cream cheese filling with a crispy closed top. The sweet and sour sauce provided is THICK and not runny. It is so flavorful. The hibachi lunches are great sized portions, and also given the option of an egg roll or a soda for a great price. The steak is cooked amazing, not chewy in texture like most Asian places. 11/10 on food.

Atmosphere- the ambiance is perfect for a date night. Low dim lit lighting, the brightness is blocked at the entry doors for that perfect date night feel. The area is spacious as well.

Service- was greeted immediately for my takeout order. Called in my order and had absolutely no issues with the order when given. This is a rarity to accomplish nowadays it feels in the food industry.

Great spot for a quick, tasty, and reasonably priced Asian food. My family and I stopped here after a cross country meet up the road and have a very good meal. Sweet-and-Sour Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Pork, and Korean Fried Chicken Bowl for our mains. Every dish was well prepared, tasty, and large. The ramen did not have the depth of flavor I have had from dedicated ramen shops but it was still tasty and portion size was significant. We had the Gyoza, Steamed Pork Shumai, and Egg Roll for appetizer; all very well prepared and some of the larger shumai I've had...a lot of meat. I've ordered from there twice, and was very impressed with the food. Ordered the hibachi steak and scallops with fried rice, the house fried rice and egg rolls. So much food with each order, we ate on it for 2 meals. Not too sure of what the vegitables were that came with the steak, but, not being a veggie guy, I couldn't eat very much of it. So far, I'm a fan. I ordered on line and was told, by text message, 15 - 20 minutes, it took about 30 - 35. So, next time I'll wait a little longer before I drive there.
