Late post. At the end of August 2025 I went through the drive-thru late at night and Angelique who took our order and services the window was very nice, informative, and professional. She was very much so like what you would expect from a classic TV show in which the representative of the company is very knowledgeable about products and services. I'm confident that if you have the pleasure of being served by Angelique, you'll feel a sense of nostalgia that you didn't even know you were missing.
As for the cost, I don't think that two meals was worth $40. But then again the burger was very delicious. We ordered two of the double bacon Western burger meals one of them a large with a soda and the other one a medium with a strawberry shake. Also with the strawberry shake mail the fries were upgraded to the waffle fries.
Hey Carl's junior, do you know what would be really revolutionary? Is if you had a Carl's Junior Junior that offered more sensibly priced meals and food. Perhaps maybe smaller patties with smaller buns but still offering the fries and drink option but, for instance, not having the drink refillable? Possibly offering a discount for people who bring their own cup? But you know I'd be more revolutionary than that? Is sourcing the food products ingredients closer to home. Food ingredients from the very counties that the stores are in. This would give people in the community a sense of pride in the quality of their food. Because the hype of having the food tastes exactly the same every restaurant is overplayed and is extinct. Nowadays people want to need affordable, convenient and healthy. We know if it's sourced in our own county that it's going to be healthy. Shoot if you even had a paper product company make the wrappers for you, that would still be sourcing and feeding into the community that you serve.
Again, thank you Angelique so much for being so awesome!
Note: I do believe her name was Angelique but just in case it might have been Angelica. This is the late post so I'm not 100% certain and I can't find my receipt which I intended to keep so that I would...
Read moreDid not give my order of chicken Santa Fe sandwich ordered with tomato added and paid for extra tomato on 11-15, instead got some dried out Burger. Called and they said I could come back for a full combo later and took my name. I went back 11-29 and asked if I could change the name to my husband's and get a burger instead because I am trying to eat healthier and would not be frequenting them. The girl Daisy said no and also told me that I only had 2 weeks to get my combo so if I didn't get it today they would take my name off the list. I said fine I would get it and was trying to tell her how I wanted it made. She turned her back to me and started calling out we need a santa Fe, we need a santa Fe. I said I need to tell you how I would like it. She said they could not give me tomatoes because it had not been written down. I explained I had ordered it with tomato and extra and had paid for it that way previously. When we started our conversation I was the only customer in line, at this point she tells me I am holding up the line which had formed behind me. She tells me fine I will give it to you with tomates because I need to help others. I go sit down and wait. A few minutes later she comes out and hands me $12 and tells me this is what that combo costs so here is my money and if I want to I can call her manager Veronica in the morning. Unbelievable. I told her I would not be going back to...
Read moreWe haven't been to "Carl's Jr" in quite a long time. We were craving a burger but didn't want to hit the same ol stomping grounds. We happened to see that Carl's was offering some double burgers for a couple of bucks "more on that later". Coming into the drive thru, the smell from Carl's wafts into our car and immediately.. we knew this was a good choice. So as we order our burgers, they ask if we want them to be made into combos, "yeah sounds good!" I could use some crisscut fries and a Coke! "This is where they get you." The burger "by itself" is only a few bucks, you get the combo, you jump up to normal price. We paid around 20 bucks for 2 double cheeseburger combos, I wouldn't normally do this again, I'd rather get a bigger burger and pay a few bucks more. But.. the flavor! Was incredible! The coke was spot on, not too sweet, not too savory! The crisscuts were perfectly salted and crisp! The burger, juicy, cheese melted oh so fine! It was something to admire before you...
