Jammin Java — Restaurant in Visalia

I've been trying out small businesses who sell/make coffee, so I can find the best shop. This was the 2nd time I've been here and each time I've had a non welcoming experience. This last time, the girl that was working, didn't give us her attention on ordering and gave us attitude when we asked how many oz are in a small and how many shots where in the special flavors. Apparently, two questions was too many. Then we placed our order with no whip cream and she gave us our drinks with whip cream. First, she didn't give us her full attention, then she gave us attitude and now she couldn't get our order right. I told her she had it wrong and when she said she'd fix it, with another attitude, I said forget it and I'll just take the drinks as is. I just wanted to get my coffee, leave and never return. I'll spend my money at a different coffee...

Since they deleted my previous review I would like to make it clear that this managers daughter is working under the table and they put dirty towels on the blenders as they blend. If you work her not only will you be required to remember everything in an unreasonable amount of time. She will not train you properly. To be crystal clear I am talking about Brence. Her turn over rate is extremely high, anyone who works there knows that she leaves notes in the bathroom (her workspace) of person after person in line in case someone is fired. She will not let you hand out any drinks if you’re starting and she will not let you do anything on your own, she will take your tasks and do them for you when she gets irritated explaining. I don’t think this manager has the patience for this job. Seems to me like a full time job with kids is a bit too...

Place used to be great! The service is always friendly but the last 4 times I've gone they always have to re-ask what my drink or my wife's drink has and they end up getting it wrong still. Note to staff, if you can't remember more than 1 drink, please write the order's down or at least repeat the order back before instructing to drive forward. It's frustrating having to repeat what drink has whipped cream and which does not everytime we order, and again it's only 2 drinks. However, prices are still much better than large chain coffee companies and when they do make the drinks right, they're great! Avoid the sausage, egg, and cheese croissants too unless you want to pay almost 4 dollars for a frozen Costco or Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich that is heated up in a microwave. I ordered 3 one time and they were all still slightly frozen...
