Golden China Buffet — Restaurant in Visalia

We received dirt silverware , the table that we got sat at was sticky and cups, all of my family had food in there cups floating. As for the food the sweet shrimp was the best item in the buffet food was all cold and didn’t taste well. Had flys everywhere can only imagine they were probably landing on the food. sushi seem like something you would grab at a gas station which really sucks to me because I was looking forward to that, The cookies and dessert seem like something you would get At Costco my children tried to eat the jello but it smelled like dirty sponge I did not feel comfortable with allowing them to eat that. Don’t get me wrong. The food looks great, but doesn’t taste well at all. As for the service, the lady who sat us seemed pretty nice, but we had more interaction with the bus boy than anybody else this is how the business is going to continue. I would suggest this establishment to do a lot better with cleanliness. And get better cooks Don’t get me wrong. It is cheap Maybe this is why. Golden China Buffet is definitely NOT my favorite buffet by any means.

The tables were old and sticky while the chairs were missing pieces to the feet, which made the chairs wobble.

Finally, I headed to the buffet and had to search for a clean plate... and kept finding dirty plates that had food on them still. Nearly 3 plates later, I finally found a clean plate.

We came around the end of the lunch rush, so it wasn't too busy.

The food was OK but definitely not the best by any means. My son wanted to try crab legs, but the ones offered at this buffet had absolutely no meat in them.

Then, I headed to the bathroom, and I couldn't believe how filthy the women's bathroom was... it absolutely nasty that day.

The server was nice and did keep checking on us, but I personally wouldn't go back to this...

IN ALL HONESTLY..The staff is friendly. The food does look appetizing..HOWEVER, don't let your hunger and the price blind you. Pay attention to the sticky seats, grimy carpet, dirty windows, Filthy restrooms, dusty vents, old moldy wet stained Ceiling, bugs, cold food, "clean" plates are not washed right as well as silverware still have food residue from the previous person. How are they still open?! I dont want to know whats happening in the kitchen...The presentation of the exterior should warn you about the interior..I couldn't eat my 1st plate after the flies on the food and the roach on the counter by the desert table.
