Bush's Chicken Waco — Restaurant in Waco

I gotta say this remains the best bushs in Waco and better than the one in west ,even post pandemic. HOWEVER the star deduction is because there is a lack of consistency for awhile now. You can generally tell a difference when management is there vs when the kids are running the show. Some times it's really good, hot and fresh like it was today and some times our tenders are clearly what's left over from the lunch rush like last time and went to our outside dogs. (Food in general) is too expensive right now for that kind of inconsistentcy .One more problem with this location is that the young employees have the same issue we all had as kids and that they simply DO NOT listen. I can't stress this enough if you visit this location check ,check ,check your order before you drive off . Multiple times / more times than not one of my sides is missing. My potatoes were missing today AGAIN and I was shorted two tenders making my 12$ six piece a four piece. I've just gotten in the habit of checking my food before I leave .Really customers should do that every where anyways to save us the hassle of missing items later while trying to enjoy our meal. Overall it's still a fair place to get a decent meal which is way more than what can be said for most restaurants around these days. Keep up...

I have never gone to a restaurant and ever wanted to have the biggest dying urge to get out of my vehicle and put hands on a fast food employee/worker until TODAY. The dolled up Mexican lady with the blond hair pinned up in a bun SHOULD GET put through some customer service classes or never work on customer service ever!! While I was being asked what I NEEDED and answered her she kept looking at me like I was the most DISGUSTING thing on this planet and when she came back with my order she handed it to me with a ATTITUDE and man the look on her face made me want to CORRECT it. I asked for seasoning she got a attitude and made me feel like I was a bother came out with two PACKETS and never in my life have I ever been handed TWO I get it's policy but no one ever sticks to it. I asked really just TWO and she answered back with a again ATTITUDE that made me want to HIT HER. She goes yes two per meal ma'am and walks away into the store and rudely says have a good day after rolling her eyes. IDK WHO THIS LADY IS BUT SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED BEFORE SHE GETS HIT by someone else!! That attitude is RAUNCHY (I called up there to make a complaint and was told that was the owner) IF THAT WAS THE OWNER...

I arrived at the 19th street location and went inside to pick up a delivery for DoorDash. I waited about a minute for a young lady to approach the front cash register and ask how she could help me, I told her which DoorDash delivery I was there to pick up. I waited a total of 13 minutes to receive a 1 meal order. There were no other patrons inside the restaurant but the drive thru was busy. 13 minutes was too long to wait for what the order consisted of. The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy. I was never once greeted by a friendly, smiling face. A couple of employees appeared to be lost in translation, while others worked so hard and fast that they never looked up. This store doesn't appear that it would possess the ability to handle a busy drive thru and a busy dining room. This store clearly lacked a manager or floor lead managing the floor by example. Employees won't know how to work effectively without an example...
