I’ve been dining at the restaurant since I was a child and I’m now 31 yrs old. Not much has changed since. I can tell you from first hand experience that they are in fact prejudice against all over ethnicities. The staff is sometimes rude and have just flat out refused to make my food the way that I’d like. Once my order was wrong and the guy at the counter was being rude and argumentative like I was doing something wrong or trying to get over. They made me open the burrito and point out the error before correcting it, and once they did my burrito was way smaller than the one I received originally. It’s not my fault as a consumer that my order wasn’t made correctly, so why should I suffer. I ordered the same burrito for years literally, and they’ve still not got my order down. I used to leave a tip hoping that would maybe help with the terrible service I’ve been receiving over the years but that was completely in vain. The young guy is always confrontational and argumentative. I once stood in line waiting for a call in order and I watched as they put other customers ( of their same ethnicity) in front of me like I wasn’t even there. I’ve finally decided to throw in the towel and call it quits after all these years. Just recently I would visit this restaurant 4, 5 times in a week for breakfast. What kind of customer service is that to a long time spending customer spending almost $40, $50 dollars a week. I go to Wako taco now the food is better, the service, and the portions. They don’t try to charge me an additional $2 for salsa either, will definitely NEVER be returning to this restaurant ever again. Good...
Read moreOk, first things first. This place is a little hole in the wall. If you judge by the outside looks, you'll miss out on some really good food. Secondly, if you don't speak fluid Spanish, there's a small language barrier. They understand English but seem to get mixed up with certain parts of ordering sometimes. For example we ordered to eat there, but it was served to go. No problem for me, I'm pretty patient with restaurants. If you can get past that and are still unsure. Just order a breakfast burrito. It will make you want to try the rest of the menu. The tortilla is so soft and fresh, the inside steaming hot.( My wife was impressed as well with how fresh it was) The eggs are not overcooked, green and red salsa to smother it in. Chips and salsa are delicious with a wonderful warm salsa and Waco famous Jessie's Tortilla Chips served with it. Even with the language barrier, this place was well worth it. It is a little pricey, but as a chef, I understand prices are still high for businesses. It costs a lot to run a restaurant. And in the end, what you pay for is a good meal, and that's exactly what I got... a very good meal. 👍 I will be back to try more of the menu. Looking...
Read moreI give THIS PLACE a BIG 0! The salsa and lemonade was good but the papas looked burned, the chilaquiles had no eggs!!! I had a Cilaquile plate in Houston at the same price and had eggs, the Chilaquile plate served at Garibaldi's only has tortilla chips, salsa (your choice) and shredded cheese. No eggs on that is a 0 to me. And the people are rude. I will never go back and won't recommend it to no one. You can get more at another Mexican restaurant for the same price! Try Valle's Mexican Restaurant on...
