This place is run by a power couple who seem to have unlocked some secret level of talent—like, they’re probably good at everything from brewing coffee to juggling chainsaws. Their coffee is so good it might just make you question all your previous life choices. They’ve got this fancy pour steady machine that makes you feel like your drink is being crafted by a caffeinated wizard.

I highly recommend the gluten-free oatmeal cream pie. If gluten isn’t your nemesis, the blueberry cream cheese danish is the way to go. But if you’re one of those folks who get into a brawl with a loaf of bread, steer clear of the danish and stick with the gluten-free option unless you’ve come prepared with a solid exit strategy in case of emergency.

I know some people think matcha tastes like green beans in a cup. But if you’re one of the enlightened souls who enjoy it, choose self love and try the lavender or coconut matcha. It’s like sipping on a fancy, floral dream—or a tropical vacation in a mug… shooot! Try a blend of both!

The shop’s decor is pretty neutral, so if you’re hunting for unique Instagram shots, this isn’t exactly the place to make your followers jealous. BUT if you’re just looking for a serene spot to dive into some remote work, this place is a sanctuary. Just be warned, seating can be as hard to find as the last piece of a puzzle, but if you snag a table, it’s totally worth it.

Short Review: #1 coffee and baked goods selection AND the best vibes in Waco, Texas.

Long Review: From a product standpoint - Their consistency and value for excellence is what keeps me coming back to For Keeps. As someone who has frequented this shop for a few years now, I know that I can count on really good coffee and fresh baked goods made in-house. If you’re getting traditional coffees like cortado/macchiato/cappuccino/americano, then you’re in the right place because they make them correctly. The lattes are fun too because they seasonally come out with new flavor offerings! Matcha latte is on point here too. The pastries are really well done, made fresh from scratch. Highlights for me being the cinnamon bun and the breakfast sammy. And just like the lattes - the baked goods seasonally change! There is a ton of seating for both individuals and groups of about 4-5 people. When the weather is right the garage doors open and also the patio seating is really nice and relaxing. The overall space is bright and open. Dog friendly. Couldn’t ask for more from a coffee shop!

For Keeps is a new coffee shop in Waco that is 100% worth visiting. The atmosphere is fantastic and provides the perfect setting for a relaxing cup of coffee. The interior is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating options to choose from.

Me and some of my friends got a sneak peak of the coffeeshop before it opened, and I was blown away.

The service at For Keeps is outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your coffee experience. They are knowledgeable about their coffee offerings and happy to answer any questions you may have.

But what really sets For Keeps apart is their coffee. The coffee is excellent, made with high-quality beans and expertly prepared. Whether you're in the mood for a latte, cappuccino, or a simple drip coffee, you won't be disappointed.
