We were told it’d be a 45 minute wait and we waited over 50 minutes with a party who wasn’t in line being sat first. We came here because my girlfriend only wanted to try their seasonal French toast that she was so excited for but after waiting almost an hour we get to order and they then decide to tell us it’s sold out. We decided to pick something else from the menu. The girl bussing tables with short hair and glasses was very rude and frustrated the entire time. After she picked plates up from a table we sat there to wait for our order and when she came back to wipe it down (which we had already done) she saw us and threw up her hands at us with attitude. She also rudely asked us to get up and move from the bar chairs while we were waiting 50 minutes to order. She brought us our food and literally threw the plates in front of us along with silverware straight on the table, no napkins. My girlfriend asked kindly “can we have some napkins please” after which the same girl came and threw a stack of about 20 napkins in between us. We have never been treated so poorly in any establishment before today. The food was great and all other staff members were lovely but we never want to be treated like this again. We were respectful to her the entire time but it was so shocking to see how rude she was to us, she ruined our entire experience. We will not...

I am a Waco local and have come to Harvest on 25th many times. I enjoy coming with friends mostly because of ambiance and knowing where my food is coming from. As much as I do enjoy it, I have had some issues getting what I want on the menu at every visit. I am gluten free and have other allergies so I have to be extremely careful- Harvest has many options for people like me, but they haven't had gluten free bread a single time I have been there.

I have tried going right as they open, early morning, mid morning, afternoon...and each time they don't have bread. I don't know if they don't have a lot of GF bread on hand due to the cost, but I don't think items items on the menu should be advertised saying they can be made GF.

At my last visit, I had to sub the toast because they didn't have any (again) with the GF pancake. Instead of taking off the price of the toast and replacing that with the pancake, I had to pay the price of the FULL meal AND the gluten free pancake- I thought the employee was replacing the items but when I was paying, I realized I was paying $3 for one pancake that would "sub" for the toast I wasn't getting...but still paying for. I was told that because the pancake costs more, I have to pay for the pancake.

I adore and love that this place is local but I was disappointed that I still didn't get any bread and had to pay...

I love this place - the vibe, the staff are nice, the vegan, vegetarian and healthy options are a rare and wonderful surprise in Waco. The food always tastes great, too. I’ve eaten here a lot: pizza, salad, breakfast, a bunch of things.

There’s just one issue: the portion sizes are just too small. I’m always still hungry after lunch. I dropped over $18 on a burger with fries and a drink. The sweet potato fries were laughably small. So small. Less than half a potatoes worth. Once I got a breakfast sandwich: it was just one very very small sandwich on a big plate. Please: just increase the portion sizes for the price I’m paying. Maybe for some dishes: add a side salad or carb to increase the size of the meal. On your hash breakfast, also really yum, add a complimentary English muffin, maybe some home fries too? Otherwise it’s just a little bowl of hash? It was delicious just too small. Everything else is great. I would eat here every week, if it was just a bit more...

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered the margherita pizza which was pretty flavorful but a little lacking and I also got the Pesto chicken Sammie sandwich with sweet potato fries. This sandwich was very disappointing to say the least. Good idea but poorly executed I would say. The chicken was super dry and the sandwich overall was very dry, could have used more of some sauce that added moisture. Did not finish sandwich and for $16 I would have expected more flavor. The sweet potato fries were super charred and was a bit too charred for me, even though I do like certain foods cooked this way. Not sure I would return to try again. Very disappointing for my first visit. UPDATE: Really appreciate Harvest responding so quickly and refunding the cost of my sandwich. Might give them a second chance to stop by just for the prompt follow up.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage. It sounded very unique with the caramelized onion and the smoked collard greens. I was very underwhelmed. The sandwich comes out looking like a slider. The collard greens smokiness really overpowered the sandwich. I initially thought they had forgotten the sausage on the sandwich, but it was actually ground sausage, not a patty. $2 sausage equated to about a spoonful. This isn't an item that I would order again. My bf ordered pancakes that were good, they had a little different texture. He also ordered the migas which he really liked. I like the farm to table concept, but what I ordered didn't really suit me. The restaurant is kind of boho minimalist and is clean, nice atmosphere.

I went to harvest with a couple friends, one friend got the yoghurt which looked awesome and the other friend and I split the plum toast and pepper toast which we added egg to. The plum toast was really good, not too sweet, it paired well with the Thai basil and chili oil. The pepper toast might've been even better. It had pan seared shishitos and we added an egg to it. I was a little unsure about the cashew cheese spread but it was wonderful. We also got the breakfast sandwich and each had a third of it. It too was great. That was our last breakfast together since I was moving and I am really happy we chose this restaurant. Only issue was I intended to get a scone on the way out and forgot. I was sad
