✨Great coffee, great atmosphere!
I was immediately impressed by the cozy atmosphere when I walked in. I love the wood paneling on the walls and the plants everywhere. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, so we didn’t have a problem finding a place to sit. I loved the music they were playing too, it just added to the chill atmosphere. They have a really nice shaded patio area with benches.
I ordered the cold brew with oat milk, and it was delicious. My friend ordered a chai latte and they loved it. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the oat milk added a nice touch of creaminess. I also really liked the fact that they offer a variety of vegan and gluten-free options.
The service at Pinewood Coffee Bar is also top-notch. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and they take the time to make sure your drink is perfect. I also appreciate that they offer free Wi-Fi, so you can work or relax on your laptop while you enjoy your coffee.
Overall, I had a great experience at Pinewood Coffee Bar. The coffee is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee shop in Waco.

Read moreIf you like real coffee, you're going to love this place. Some reviewers have stated that Pinewood is lacking in syrups, but who needs that? They do a house blend batch brew and a single origin batch brew that is always rotating. Both have proven to be delicious every time.
The folks at Pinewood have done an excellent job of setting up their space in what can only be described as "comfy-cool." The booths are tall pew-like benches that offer plenty of privacy, and they have a large library table as well as tables for one or two. Finally, my favorite is their little reading area that is outfitted with a nice, mid-century modern table and rockers, perfect for reading or doing light computer work.
Back to the coffee:
If you are looking for a local rendition of Starbucks, stay away. This is a local, third-wave coffee shop and roaster. The people here have perfected the craft, and you won't be finding any unicorn frappes or bubblegum lattes here.
If you want good coffee and a great vibe, this is one of the best options in town. Listen to the scratch of the record playing and melt away to the experience of a fine coffee.
P.S. To the reviewer who states you cannot get a macchiato: You most likely will find that you could get a traditional macchiato here, just not the one you're used to...

As for the drinks: I tried their golden apple hard cider on a whim, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Crisp, refreshing, and just the right amount of bite — I’d come back for that alone.
The layout is brilliant: a modern coffee bar, an open courtyard, and a cozy beer taproom, all harmonizing together to make space for community and solitude in equal measure.
Pinewood has become my go-to place for inspiration, focus, and quality — and I couldn’t...
