Third Rate Service and Food
We were back in Ohio visiting family and friends. One evening I wanted to order out so we attempted to order from the place closest. They were closed that day so we reverted to this place just a little ways away in Wadsworth. It was about 45 minutes to their closing and they were exceptionally rude about that from the start.
They didn't have any white rice at all, which seems odd since that's one of the few things you would expect a Chinese restaurant to never run out of. I suspect they simply didn't want to make any more. We were not offered a substation or discount for the inconvenience and instead opted to get fried rice for several orders. Order was placed and we went to Wadsworth to get it.
The wife ran in to pick it up and when she asked for a side of Tso sauce (not expecting it to be free mind you, fully prepared to pay for it) she was very rudely told it was impossible, as well as treated poorly simply for asking for soy sauce (which for 8 meals, shouldn't be asking too much of a Chinese restaurant)
We took it back to the house and served everyone, it was mediocre at best with several sides of inconsiderate and condescending behavior. Go across town and get New Style. Simply food and service.
ps - Beef and Broccoli was the lowest, sub genaric cut of meat one could find without falling to dog food. The girl we ordered it for literally couldn't eat it. It was more gristle and fat than beef, aside from the fact that it was rubbery...
Read moreFor Valentine's Day, I ordered sweet and sour chicken dinner to go as a special meal along with barbecued spare ribs dinner. Dismal looking chicken on one side (identical pieces looked like they were popped in oven from a freezer bag) and some unappetizing pork fried rice. Sweet and sour sauce separate and tasted like duck sauce. No pineapple whatsoever. The barbecued spare ribs were smothered with sauce to hide the old and skimpy ribs that were uneatable. I stopped by the restaurant the next morning to complain. A new cook? We had ordered shrimp fried rice and other lo mein dishes regularly and food was good. Counter person referred me to owner who looked at my bill and was very rude and unapologetic. Owner's attitude was main reason I gave it only one star. Time to find another...
Read moreHorrible experience. Placed an order online around 8:30 pm, received a phone call minutes later that they were closing soon. I said to cancel the order, and they yelled at me that it was very late, did I know it was located in downtown Wadsworth where everything was closed, to be there in 25 minutes. I should have canceled the order because when I arrived (15 minutes later) the cashier yelled at me and asked what I wanted. Before I could answer, multiple times he yelled more questions at me and threw things around, slapped my receipt on the window, never listening when I tried to answer. He finally shoved my food into the order window and threw my sushi on top. By far the worst customer service I have ever...
