As a routine visitor of El Agave I know what to expect from them for the food and service. Tonight was the worst service I’ve had yet and one of the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Seated quickly and chips were brought out. Ordered queso and our meal which is where the wheels fell off. The server never came back to the table. We ran out of water and wanted to order some margaritas but never saw her again. Other tables had the same issue from looking around with tables full of empty cups. Our food was good however the service was horrendous. Finally after we finished our meal Taylor our server came by and asked if we needed anything and we stated water. She brought a kids cup of water but never refilled our cups. We waited a few more minutes for her to come by and pay which she never did. Some of the ingredients don’t seem to be as high quality as other similar restaurants. They are also pricier than many other similar restaurants. The portion sizes are pretty small especially on rice, sour cream and guacamole. The guacamole they put on your plate when you order fajitas is a funny color and very runny. It does not seem to be fresh guacamole which I would expect from the type of eatery. They do have 2 for 1 house margaritas everyday. Unsure of any beer specials. It’s nice that there is a path off the patio to the “pumpkin patch“ playground. It’s nice for the kids to be able to go over there while...
