Twisted Confections — Restaurant in Walden

We’ve visited the food truck before for to go food, which was a pleasant experience. However, the overall sit down experience left a lot to be desired. When we walked in, there was no one to greet us or direct us where to go. It wasn’t clear that you had to head to the back of the restaurant to order, which was confusing.

Right away, the smell inside was overwhelming, and not in a good way. The entry/lobby area was extremely cluttered with tons of breakable items, which made it a bit of a nightmare with small kids. Trying to keep them from touching anything while we stood in the back to order was stressful and definitely not family friendly.

We ordered two milkshakes but were told after the fact that they had run out of ice cream, so the shakes we got were not full, disappointing especially since we paid full price.

To top it off, there were used mayonnaise packets left open on our table and empty beverages on the table beside us, which made things feel unclean.

The one bright spot was the food, it was prepared well and tasted good. But the poor customer service, chaotic environment, and overall lack of cleanliness really took away...

The place was awesome! I went there this morning for the first time with some friends that go there regularly, Staff were super friendly and talkative, were very patient and the food came out really fast. BEST BACON EGG AND CHEESE BISCUIT EVERRRRRRRRR OMG!! 😳 cured my hangover 😂 and all of the products in the restaurant were adorable i got myself a cow print beanie. Very friendly employees, the food feels like it’s made with love and homemade. It’s very classic american take-out cuisine and it’ll be the best burger and hotdog joint you find on the mountain. Affordable, quick, and delicious. Great place to bring kids and they allow animals as well. Right next to the pumpkin patch so very local! I suggest everyone...
