Have been loyal customers for years, until this week when we placed a very large order for a houseful of guests. We discovered after bringing our order home, that the toppings and cheese on two of our many pizzas were all over the interior of the boxes, making them totally inedible. My daughter called to describe the problem and ask if Alfanos would please replace the two wrecked pizzas out of the half dozen we had just paid for. She was met with resistance, they were not very happy to be asked to do that. When my young daughter went to pick up the new pizzas, the female owner argued it wasn’t Alfanos fault this happened and they did nothing wrong, and accused my daughter of “yelling” at her on the phone. When my daughter denied ever raising her voice or yelling at her, the owner’s husband went into a raging attack, screaming at my petite, 5 foot tall, 95 lb, 20 year old young daughter vulgarities: calling her a “f- - -ing A-hole” multiple times and screaming he didn’t want “her kind” in his place of business and to get the - - - out! Other patrons witnessed his horrible, disgusting, out of control behavior. When my daughter replied “you can’t talk to me like that, I am a customer who came to you as a business and just spent close to $100 on pizzas and all I asked was that you replace the inedible ones. I showed you respect”- -he then proceeded to threaten to call the police if she didn’t leave and the verbal attack continued until my daughters boyfriend, who had tried to de-escalate the situation and calm this insane maniac down, led my daughter out of the building. There is never any excuse for a grown man to be screaming vulgarities at a young female girl. She was there in good faith about a PIZZA for crying out loud, expecting he would want to stand behind his product! Shame on him and this kind of behavior! We frequented Alfanos, sometimes as often as once or twice a week for the last 15 years. We will never set foot in this place as customers again. This is absolutely no way to treat not only valuable customers, but people in general. Rude, disgusting, and completely out of control. This man has serious anger and social decency issues and serious mental health issues! He has single-handedly lost close to 35 ex-frequent regulars just within our immediate family...and that will multiply very quickly as each of these 35 spread the word to THEIR friends and family NOT to support this business....

Oct 24 @ 5pm - Ordered delivery for Alfredo pizza and Pepperoni Pizza Swirls. Order arrived but instead of marinara there was salsa. Called immediately and asked to bring marinara back. They said that they wouldn't drive out for just marinara but offered 50% off our next pizza. We said that was perfect and thank you.
Oct 31 @ 4pm - Ordered delivery for Alfredo pizza, Pepperoni pizza, and Pepperoni Pizza Swirls. Mentioned that we should have 50% off of one of the pizzas. They said they didn't have that on our account but if we wanted to come in and talk to the manager they could figure it out. Since it was Halloween we just said send the pizzas and next time. The pizzas arrived and were absolutely destroyed, no toppings were on the Alfredo, there wasn't the requested toppings, and the Pepperoni pizza was overcooked. We called and said this is the second time this has happened. Talked to Taylor and Piper, said if they wanted to make this right they needed to make our next order Pizza + Pepperoni Twists completely free. They agreed, and we triple checked with them that it was on our account.
Nov 9 @ 5pm - Called to order the free Pizza and Pepperoni Twists and it wasn't on our account. They said we could come in and talk to the manager. So we did that, I talked to Antuan. Apparently Taylor and Piper didn't have the authority to promise that and he offered to take 50% off. I explained the situation and how he should adhere to what was promised and he said "You're not just getting a free meal".
In summary, do not trust this restaurant. They will...
Read moreProbably won't go back, which is pretty disappointing because my husband thought it would be really good. We started with a Sicilian sampler and everything was overcooked. Didn't love the arancini, I've had that before at Amore and it was way better. Waitress never refilled drinks, she forgot our second appetizer. Half our party never received Napkins or Silverware.
My husband ordered the Italian skillet and for 18$ the portion was pretty small, it wasn't very good and Potatoes were undercooked. I ordered the Parmigiano with veal, again 24$ and it was overcooked with not much flavor,I ended up giving my husband a whole patty because he was still hungry. I ate 1 and didn't touch the 3rd. I also never received the spagetti that came with it till we were done with our meal, I didn't end up eating it but had a taste and it wasn't much better than can chef boyardee.
The upside... the pizza our kids had was good. But we have had pizza here several times before for takeout and it's always been good.
Waitress was really slow to check us out, we had to go up to the hostess desk ourselves and she shorted our party 11$ in change and had to be corrected.
Our bill was 73$ before tip for 1 app, 2 entrees, 10in pizza and 4 waters. Never in this world would I pay that much for the food and service quality we received. If it wasn't for a 50$ gift card we had I probably would have refused to pay...
