This place is such a gem! It’s exactly what a fast-food spot should be—quick, easy, super tasty, and totally affordable. Honestly, so many fast-food joints these days are ridiculously overpriced, and the portions keep getting smaller and smaller. But not here.
The chicken? Absolute perfection. It’s fried to this golden, crispy goodness on the outside, but when you bite into it, it’s so juicy and flavorful it’s almost unreal. And the size? Huge! Sometimes the chicken is even bigger than the bun, which is a win in my book. Compare that to Chick-fil-A, where the chicken is thin, the portions are tiny, and you’re spending over $12 for one meal. Here at Wallace, for that same price—or less—you can grab three big, satisfying chicken sandwiches. It’s seriously that good.
But the food isn’t the only thing worth mentioning. They’ve got other options, like protein drinks and even healthier stuff if you’re in the mood for it. Plus, the menu changes every week! I’ve already spotted some new items popping up, which keeps things exciting.
And let’s talk about the people here. The staff is just so friendly and chill. They’re easy to talk to, super helpful, and no tip is needed. That’s a rare find these days! The vibe of the whole place is awesome too. The open design makes it feel welcoming and laid-back, like you can just hang out and enjoy your meal.
Every time I’m craving fried chicken, Wallace is my first stop. Honestly, no other place even comes close. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out big time. Trust me,...
Read moreBF really wanted to check this place out together, but we weren't around the area to dine in. I was by Walnut before closing time and picked up to go orders several times for us to try something for dinner.
We've gotten: 3 for $10 chicken sandwiches 2 piece spicy wings ($2.99) waffle fries ($2.99) 12 piece tempura chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce ($4.99) tempura green beans ($3.99) French fries ($2.49)
The chicken sandwiches come with chicken, pickles, and mayo and we usually get a combination of sandwiches that have pickles and no pickles and no mayo overall. It's been pretty delicious that way. It's still good when you take it home to eat, but the latest visit, we decided to eat the chicken sandwiches right then and there and my goodness, it tastes so good when it's hot from the Wallace Chicken kitchen!
Out of the things we tried, they've been good, but our go to would be the chicken sandwiches, the tempura green beans and the tempura chicken nuggets.
Employees here have been friendly and helpful during all of our visits. Lots of seating inside for small and large groups. Parking is easy in the parking lot, though if it's busy, you're gonna be parking further away.
Definitely my chicken...
Read moreThursday 5/1/25 Dinner at Wallace Chicken. Ordered the chicken sandwich, chicken wings, and French fries. I’ve learned from Joel that the chicken are dark meats which I liked. It’s tastier than Brest or white meat. It’s seasoned or marinated and breaded. The foods were delicious: tender and tasty chicken with Wa Sauce, Caribbean sauce, and Nashville sauce as their dipping sauce which added a burst of flavors to the chicken. The French fries were lightly bread which provided a crunchy texture.
Joel, service staff, greeted me with a smile and went over menu items and her recommendation since it is my first time at this restaurant. She is very friendly and provided customers a warm welcome. Thank you Joel.
Dominic, restaurant manager, came out to the dining area and greeted me. He was friendly and hospitable.
I recommend trying this restaurant. I will be coming back to try other menu items.
