Very old and dry meat! I went to this restaurant in the afternoon, and I had a terrible experience about the meat they sell. I feel that they sell the old, dry and leftover meats in the afternoon, so they can get rid of the leftovers for the day. I ordered a family sized Chripy Pata: it is a piece of fried pig foot. I trusted the quality of the meat and the integrity of the business people, so I didn't open and check the meat before I left the restaurant. When I got home and looked at the meat, it was VERY DRY, VERY OLD, and tasted like the wood fiber ! It certainly looked like a leftover meat which had been refried for many times! There was no moisture or juice in the meat, but bone dry and very hard to chew on. I have to literally throw the whole meat away! It did cost me 30 dollars to purchase this un- eatable piece of junk! There was only 1 girl working, half the restaurant was full of people, waiting for their orders. We ordered and ordering wasn't traffic jam line, and little did we know that our food would arrive 40 minutes later.
Cafeteria style of restaurant is almost similar to fast food, but 40 minutes wait was a little too much of a wait time.
Not only that, the food was too salty. But for the price of $5.95 a meal with 2 choices of entres, and lots of rice, small dessert and a small cup of soup, is...
Read moreI came here with my girl on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy! So much so that it took more than half an hour for us to get our food after we ordered. It certainly doesn't help that there's only one person working the cash register and taking orders. And, it turns out, she's also the same person who brings out the order from the kitchen!
The Lechon Kawai was probably the best dish out of the four that we tried. The Chicken Adobe was alright. The beef stew was too salty and the pork chop was too dry.
$5.95 for a two entree dish with two scoops of white rice, soup, salad and dessert. It was...
