My spouse and I made a dinner stop here on our journey towards home from Florida. This was a random pit stop, and we're so glad we found this place. This Waffle House is the best location I've ever been to. The staff are the true gems of this restaurant. Ashley. C and April were such great servers. They are well mannered and very friendly. Alex was running the show at the grill, cooking single-handedly for an entire restaurant full of people. He was impressive to watch coordinating so many meals at once. Even being so busy, he'd check in with patrons behind him to see if everything was okay with their meals. I haven't seen this true, efficient, polite wholesome American service in years. They're genuinely pleasant, and it's so refreshing to see these team members working in sync with each other and happy while doing their jobs. We enjoyed our meals a lot. I ate the chicken hash brown bowl with onions, and my spouse had the bacon patty melt. Both meals were well portioned and reasonably priced. If we ever come back through this area, we'll...
Read moreWe were transfered by the Econolodge hotel. The staff of the hotel told us that we can choose either the breakfast offered by the hotel themselves or the breakfast offered by waffle house nearby. We want to complain that the staff in the hotel told us that the waffle house breakfast includes the meal, drinks need to pay but the milk is free(she mentioned the milk is free particularly). But when we went to the waffle house we ordered 3 milk and one water, and i asked the waitress that is the milk for free?she didnt answer me and i took it as a YES. But when we finished our meal, they charged me 2.3 dollars each for the milk!!.I argued with them but they didnt admit that the milk is free and asked me to argue with the hotel staff!!How ridiculous ! I felt they cheated us on purpose, both the staff of hotel and waffle house, it is a trick. I warn the future guests paying attention to this. It is not about money, it is about trust! I wont come back to...
Read moreTony and I stopped at Waffle House for Breakfast and nearly walked back out. One employee from behind counter was arguing with a man sitting at side bar. After a few moments realized he worked there too...he was extremely loud! He was sitting near us screaming at the other employees, then realized it was not a fight...it's just the way he speaks
Our waitress was very pleasant but couldn't hear us well for the screaming employee, no one ever told him to shut up or speak lower & heard them call him Jacob. Waffle House is small so that much volume was way over the top.
We ordered our food, Tony had the Texas Bacon Fried Egg Sandwich and I went with scrambled Eggs with toast and bacon & we both had hash Browns. I started with Hot Tea and Tony had sweet tea. Our food was good, our waitress was friendly and the floor show loud!! $23.50 includes raxes and $3 tip!! Would we go again? Yeah sure, we went for the food...not everything else and the...
