"Delightful Vegetarian Experience"
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Honest Vegetarian Restaurant, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The restaurant's commitment to serving wholesome and delicious vegetarian dishes is evident in every bite.
The Paneer Tikka Frankie was a highlight of my meal. The tender chunks of paneer, marinated to perfection and wrapped in a warm, soft wrap, were bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delightful blend of spices and textures that left me craving for more.
Equally impressive was the Paneer Bhurji Paratha. The paratha was generously stuffed with flavorful paneer bhurji, making it a hearty and satisfying option. The balance of spices and the freshness of the ingredients made it a standout dish.
What stood out beyond the food was the impeccable service and warm ambiance of Honest Vegetarian Restaurant. The staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.
In conclusion, Honest Vegetarian Restaurant lives up to its name by delivering honest, flavorful, and wholesome vegetarian dishes. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply looking to savor some delicious meat-free options, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more...
Read moreWe've visited this place a few times. Most of the food is generally quite good. Recommended dishes: dahi puri, chole bhature, chili paneer (dry) and dosas. However, their Pav Bhaji is mediocre at best, and the Falooda is overly sweet and watered down. On the plus side, food is served quickly.
That said, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and the overall quality of this location seems to be declining. During our recent visit, we were seated at a table with torn seats (see attached photo). We noticed a couple of other tables with the same issue. To the owners: please address this promptly. When you're charging restaurant-level prices, customers expect a more comfortable dining experience. Also, serving water in proper glasses rather than small disposable plastic cups would be a welcome improvement.
During our last visit, we requested a table by the window, but the waiter told us that section was closed. Yet, minutes later, we saw other customers being seated there. When we asked about it, we were told it was reserved for groups of eight or more—but we noticed smaller groups (three to four people) being seated at those tables. This inconsistency was disappointing. Hope their customer service improves in the...
Read moreSo here is my honest review of this restaurant (oddly named as Honest!). The only real positive thing about this restaurant was the service -- quick and efficient. As for the food, I am totally left puzzled by all the rave reviews here because -- The bhel and the dahi papri chaat were too sweet (and the papri chaat had very little dahi); the rava dosa was fine but the sambar was too watery and the coconut chutney and onion chutney did not taste anything like they should. As for the gobhi manchurian, this was probably the most fake GM that I have ever had the misfortune to taste (big pieces of cauliflower smothered in besan batter and deep fried and dunked into a sauce that did not taste either Chinese or Indian). The poori sabji that we ordered was fine. I guess, it is not easy to go wrong with poori-sabzi. Overall, a highly forgettable experience. Diners -- for a truly authentic south Indian cuisine go visit A2B in Northborough. I know it is FAR from the Waltham area but trust me -- it is the real deal, straight from Chennai. And no, I am not an investor in or promoter of A2B; I am just a diner who enjoys authentic dining...
