The food was delicious, but the dining experience was lacking. I was told to sit anywhere on the left for a two-top table. Every table was cleared, but dirty. The waiter didn’t even realize as he handed us menus. Once we told him the table needs to be cleaned, he cleaned it immediately with a dirty, smelly rag that left an odor on the table. I ordered a chicken dish and subbed my pasta for fries. I was never offered or given my side salad until I asked for it way after my food was delivered. We were given bread with no bread plates nor napkins until I had to ask for them. We were given our dinners with no silverware until I had to ask yet again. We were the only ones in there. The waiter was more concerned with cleaning the tables than focusing on the one he had. He was a nice kid working hard and I appreciate that as I am also in the same position. I tipped him 20% even though I don’t feel I got the best service. Then he comes with the POS to tell me how much I owed. I pay him, but never got a receipt. I go back in to get my receipt as I felt the bill was too high and he charged me for my fries instead of substituting it, which is what I asked. “Can I sub fries for the pasta.” To which I was told yes. That doesn’t mean charge me full price for fries and cancel my pasta. And also my chicken dish was $1 more on the receipt than what the menu reflected. I was there a while back and treated the same way and stopped going for that reason, but decided to give it another try. It’s a shame, the food is good, but I will not go back again. Giovanni’s is a better choice with great service and...
Read moreI am responding to Niccats post. I first want to say that this was one of our favorite places to eat & we came quite often. No one called anyone an immigrant, nor would anyone even think to. My husband was upset when the young kid came up to us and was very rude to us and telling us to move tables after I had already spoke with someone and said that I have claustrophobia to which, she responded that we could sit there, it was the end of the evening, there was another table that had 4 seats available and there was no rush anymore, it was the end of the night. My husband just said that he wasn't going to eat there and left. I said to the boy who was being exceptionally rude to us. Then the other girl had said it was okay for us to sit there and I said, we come here quite often and you're being rude. No one called him any names. Nor would anyone ever think to I don't appreciate people lying. I am really saddened that someone would approach us in such a hostile manner and makeup lies on top of the situation. It's absolutely outrageous that a business owner would act like this. We really liked your establishment, if you have cameras, I encourage you to check them because I guarantee you ,you will see that we called no one any names at any point. It was quite the opposite & the entire situation was it completely...
Read moreAmalios is the best!!! There is just something about that pizza that sets it apart from all the others, and I absolutely love it. It's not just about the ingredients or the recipe, but the perfect balance of flavors and textures that come together to create a truly exceptional experience. The crust is a masterpiece of its own, crispy yet tender, with a slight chewiness that makes each bite satisfying. The sauce is rich and tangy, bursting with the freshness of tomatoes and a hint of garlic and oregano. The cheese is gooey and melty! Every slice of this drunken grandma pizza is a symphony of taste and aroma, a blend of savory, spicy, and slightly sweet notes that dance on the palate. The combination of fresh herbs, maybe a drizzle of olive oil, and the perfect amount of seasoning elevates it to another level. It's like a comforting hug in the form of pizza, reminding me of memories of good times with friends and family.
I have to say, this is hands down the best drunken grandma pizza I have ever had. Each bite leaves me craving more, and I can't help but feel a sense of pure joy and satisfaction with every mouthful. It's more than just food—it's an experience, a celebration of flavors that brings happiness and...
