I'm a strong supporter of black owned businesses and especially if they are military and/or black female owned businesses. My experience occurred on April 3rd 2022. I experienced a very lengthy in line wait outside, a continued lengthy inside wait in line, a continued lengthy wait at the server line while trying to place only two orders. Initially through a new employee and she told me to wait a second and I waited. Then asked to wait through a seasoned employee. Through the seasoned employee I received only one order of two. When I informed her there was one order missing. She went to the kitchen but never returned. So I waited some more lengthy time. There was food available on the line to make my order. The new employee could have finished my order but she through a dismissal towards me she waited on the person after me. I never said anything I just waited trying to show support and patience. A young man who came out to service the line so I asked him to "please service my second order because this is a long line of people waiting behind me and I don't want to hold anyone up." The new employee began talking to him while he was preparing my second order making me feel very uncomfortable. Another seasoned employee came out to help with serving and the new employee began talking to her making me feel very uncomfortable. They all laughed at what I consider is a very arrogant comment coming from the seasoned employee who said "those people ain't going nowhere" and the employees laughed. That was her response to my not wanting to hold the line up. I responded "to the arrogance and lack of consideration" in a a very neutral tone not raising my voice that people can go elsewhere because of their "lack of urgency and lack of appreciation for people waiting". So sadly on last Sunday April 3rd 2022, Liz Kitchen lost a very faithful customer. To the third server a young man that politely finally finished my order "Thank you". To the cashier I shared my unpleasant experience with "Thank you" and to those servers who made my experience a very unpleasant one...
Read moreMy job requires me to travel, after 4 or 5 days of hamburgers and tacos we (4 of us) were looking for some soul food. Long story short by word of mouth we found Liz's. We went to Liz's on our hour lunch break and the service the food the STAFF was like a Godsend. I felt like I was at my Mom's table. Food was FLWLESS. When we was done and ready to go back to work with minutes to go before we are late from lunch. We go to pay for our food and the system is acting up and none of us have cash so not one of us can pay for this almost $60.00 lunch. The lady at the front whom we automaticly assume is the manager tells us to go back to work and come back on our next bre and pay the bill. Long story short when returned just after closing time the door's were locked. We had to beat on the door's practically begging to pay our bill. They opened the door and said we forgot all about y'all thanks for coming back. We paid and left a tip....
Read moreAbsolutely the worst catering experience I have ever had!! 1.5 hrs late, couldn't get anyone to tell us anything as far as reasoning. The young girl who came with the other servers had a really nasty attitude which several people noticed. When the manager was asked what happened she said they are really really really really busy, to which I replied that I really really really paid good money and had this set up ahead of time so that this would not happen. This was a Thanksgiving luncheon for all of our employees in our facility. The set up time on the invoice shows 10:15 and 11:00 so clearly they didn't have it together to begin with but regardless you show up at 12:15 and expect that to be acceptable? To top it off, you run out of food??? And not one word about doing anything to resolve this or make anything any better. Absolutely disgusted - extremely...
