Checked out the food truck after seeing it a couple of times. It is located in the parking lot of Shell gas station and offers a few tables for those who want to dine there! We got: 1. Saga turbo smash burger - fresh, juicy and seasoned well. The flavor combination on the burger worked very well together. Solid smash burger! 8/10 (wish it was a bit spicier but I’m a spice fanatic🙂‍↕️) 2. Mixed rice plate - packed to the brim with meat, the box weighed like 5 lbs. Huge chunks of seasoned chicken and lamb, dressed with signature white and red sauces, over a bed of fluffy and buttery yellow rice. Definitely a great meat over rice plate. 7.5/10! I could use a little more red & white sauce! 3. Strawberry lemonade - I think their lemonade is made with Italian soda? I could be wrong but it is carbonated. Refreshing and not too sweet! The food truck has a small menu but they execute their food very well. Everything is made FRESH-TO-ORDER, be sure to account in the wait time when you do come! I do believe they take order ahead for those short on time. Overall, friendly staff, fresh food, great portion and amazing pricing. Oh, opens ‘til 1AM too! A perfect place for late night munchies 😋.

This is now my new favorite food truck, even restaurant in the metro Detroit area. When I heard they were servicing chicken and rice platters like the ones I used to go late night in NYC, I had to go. The owner Tek was so nice and offered me a strawberry lemonade while I waited for my order (which was less than 10 min!) in the 90 plus temps. Portion sizes are GENEROUS (see my pics). The food speaks for itself - insanely flavorful and tender chicken, lamb, and rice, and fresh lettuce. The sauces were perfect. We are definitely coming back for the smash burgers and loaded fries/tots.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. GREAT FOOD!!! I had the chicken and rice bowl with their two homemade sauces on top. I also had their smashburger. Both were delicious. Everything cooked right there in front of you. Fresh. Flavorful. Clean. Portion for the rice platter was amazing. A lot food for the price The owners were nice and we chatted while they cooked the food. I’m starting food truck next year so I have been eating at food trucks lately. They are more clean. You get to hangout wherever they are located. 10/10

EDIT: Came back to give this place another try, this time I ordered the OG pitstop smash and I must say it was exceptionally good. It had that nice crispy edge texture and good burger to sauce ratio. The bun didn’t fall apart. The strawberry lemonade wasn’t bad. It was a little too syrupy for my liking. The fries still suck though and in need of serious help, but based on the OG burger alone, it’s 5 star worthy.

Ordered Naga turbo burger which honestly tasted like a run of the mill smash burger with bbq sauce. It wasn’t bad per se, just nothing out of the ordinary. The meat tasted fresh and not frozen. Unfortunately, I didn’t taste any of the “naga”, instead all I tasted was the slather of BBQ sauce on the burger. I did appreciate that the structure and assembly of the burger held together and didn’t fall apart and turn into a mess like a lot of the other burgers generally tend to do. I bought a combo, so it came with regular seasoned fries. I will say that I was disappointed with the fries. It had a soggy texture along with a weird taste. The “drift sauce” which they include in a small pot seemed a little too watered down for my liking, I would have preferred it to have a thicker consistency. Maybe I’m just being picky at this point. The food truck is located in the corner of a gas station, I can only imagine the parking situation could get a little awkward if it gets busy. I parked my car next to the food truck, near the entrance of the lot which in hindsight wasn’t the best idea as it wasn’t really a parking bay. Employees seemed nice and even came out to give me food while I was waiting in the car. I thought that was really considerate of...
