California Taco Shop — Restaurant in Warwick

WAS a 100% loyal customer, who recommended this place for a quick bite to eat to everyone. During my lunch break I ordered a two taco combo with JUST shrimp, lettuce and cheese. When I got back to work and took my first bite I realized there was NO shrimp in my tacos. I called the location and was informed I could either bring it back to be remade or I could take a picture of the tacos showing there was no shrimp. WTH? I took a video of going through the taco showing clearly no shrimp and went back to the place to show them after work. I was blown away with the rude attitude and disrespect I recieved as If i was some kind of crook or liar. They wouldn’t refund my money which I didn’t want anyway, they said they would write my name down and get JUST the two free soft tacos next time but I would still have to pay for the rice and beans. That is no way to treat a customer. I stayed calm and collective and just wish they apologized for the mistake and replace the meal. I’m all set, You can keep those two tacos, I WILL not support a business like this....

Aweful service!!! I placed an order to go, which came to about $35 in food. (2 taco salads, a fish taco, 2 carnitas, 2 veggie tacos, a soft taco supreme and two drinks). I was given the wrong order which was only about a $20 order consisting of only dollar tacos and queso dip. I told the girl I ordered two drinks and the one that took my order told her what drinks I ordered. I live in Cumberland which is a 25 minute ride away from Warwick and got home at 8:15pm giving my family a late dinner as it is on a school night. I called California Taco to advise them of the mix up. The girl already knew and apologized. They refused to give me a refund unless I returned the food which would have taken me 50 minutes or sound round trip. I asked for a refund minus the drinks, seeing how that is the only part of my order I received however they refused. They didn’t even refund the difference. I will NEVER recommend anyone to this place again!!! This is not a way to run a business!!! ...

They are a 3.5 stars. Not truly California Mexican....im from Cali. Its north east version US version of Mexican. Its also too inconsistent. I order the same plate every time and its never the same. Change of cooks etc. Don't know. But you use to get a nice size quesadilla made from a burritp shell..then went to a small taco shell...for 15 bucks...really?? Now its some mini roll up. Not enough value in amount of quesadilla for a 15 dollar plate. But good when hungry in a pinch. Good hours. Sort of quick. But value ..its cheap Mexican food. Is not the best. And consistency is hit or miss. The customer service is good and they do try to fix things when there are mistakes. That's very important. 3.5 stars. Google you need to fix this anilao half Stars. There's a huge difference between three...
