Payed 35$ for wings, calamari, and a spinach pie. Reasonable, I'd say.
It would be, but the wings were the gross breaded kind and soggy. The calamari gets balsamic on it, and the two minutes(literal) ride back to my house it was as well soggy and extremely unappetizing. Threw them in the oven to crisp up but it didn't help the flavor. Wings tasted like gross oil had 4 and took off the breading before i had to call it quits. Balsamic dressing is baffling on calamari.
The spinach pie was the only thing worth it, twas tasty had a little crunch but still a nice doughyness to it. You never know if you don't try, but it wasn't a good first experience. I really was craving calamari and wings but got a headache after the wings, and the calamari was just no.
In conclusion. Pizza is probably good. Spinach pie was. But avoid the other things on the menu unless you want to feel cheated of your hard earned money. It was so bad it's kind of upsetting. 25$ (because spinach pie was passable) just to throw food in the trash....
Read moreMy family says pizza is amazing, but I think its because the sauce has a lot of sugar, so severe diabetics be warned. But to me, the pizza is cooked very well and is very tasty. The grinders are also really good. I've had a meatball and chicken finger so far, no complaints. The salad, however needs a rework. I got an antipasto. It was OVERLOADED with iceberg lettuce. It had olives, tomatoes and a few green peppers. The onions were sliced way to thin, hardly there. It had barely 2 slices of salami and provolone and I'm honestly not sure what the other meat was trying to be, some sort of sliced canned ham. The blue cheese dressing was good, but I needed to throw 3/4 of the lettuce away cause there wasn't enough dressing to cover it all. The dinner roll was good, nice and soft. Overall the rest of the menu is really good, but the salad was a disappointment. I'd pay a buck or two more if there was some gumption to it. For now, I'll still buy the great pizza for the family, but I'll get my salad...
Read moreI have been coming to Little John’s for about 40 years when my children were todlers. We really enjoyed their pizzas and we ranked it as one of the best. Couple of months ago my wife and I ordered two Pizzas. We were not satisfied with the quality of the pies because the taste was awful, stale, like it was made with old dough. We returned the Pizzas, the management did not compensate us for the bad quality pizzas. We took the monetary loss. The management did not offer to replace the pizzas or return what we paid for them. We have never returned to order another pizza after 40 years of loyalty to this business. If I Was the owner of this place,I would think twice about displeasing a 40 years customer of my business, but that is just me! Have a good success with your business but me and my family are going to stay away...
