PLEASE READ THIS: I had seen this place from social media, but the real life experience at this location resulted in no service after 30 minutes in the cafe. I gave the food 2 stars, due to GF options. When we walk in, within the first minute, the counter is clear of any customers. We are ready to order. I pulled my phone out to record some of the food I might’ve thought to purchase during the time the person behind the counter had already made eye contact. We unfortunately were marginalized in that we were told there would be a 20 minute wait to order. We were in the store for 30 minutes. In order to be as fair as possible, I just leaned on the words given to me by the person behind the counter, which unfortunately did not make sense. It puts me in a weird position because why were we not allowed to order? It seemed really strange to enforce a policy but only for us. No one behind me was met with any kind of a notice. Over 30 minutes for us; but no wait for the people behind us. The employees had seen us, they passed right by us! We left no indication we were ordering any quantity that would warrant a 30 minute wait. Is this cafe normally a 30 minute wait to order? My father was beyond disappointment. We waited patiently and were seemingly not allowed to order. We had to drive to an entirely different establishment to be served. We went to Sunnyside Restaurant (local recommended) and I had a top 3 service experience! I felt accommodated and the service there was much better! At Ritual Cafe, depressingly, we continually waited in the cafe, in our car, and even came back in to see if they would say anything. They said not a word. My father was upset and rightfully so. My father said they picked who they wanted to serve. I’m a published photographer and model, who enjoys making food reviews. I hope to hear from you guys. What happened today? Note : this was Saturday, May 4th. Picture & Video was...
Read moreI feel blessed to have this place right in my neighborhood. I had the breakfast BLT last week and added avocado, which i discovered was really their guacamole, but i was pleasantly surprised at how good it all tasted. The peppery arugula and the tang from their guac is literally perfect so I would definitely recommend adding it.
Today I decided to get the honey hot chicken sandwich and again, was extremely happy with how delicious it was. The chicken is fried perfectly, yet stayed very juicy, and the hot honey with the pickles and onion are a great combo. (i might sub arugula next time in place of their iceberg, just because i like it better).
I was skeptical about trying their lattes because I'm a Dunkin girl through and through, but after reading reviews about them i decided to try the reese's iced latte. I ordered ahead so when i picked it up they had it waiting in the cooler for me which was nice. When the owner handed it to me it looked very light so i was worried it was going to taste like iced milk but thank god I was wrong. AGAIN, fricken delicious! i ordered a small and sucked it down in like 5 minutes because you could actually taste the peanut butter and it was so creamy and so good.
I hate to say it but, i might have to start going here instead of Dunkin because just like in their mission statement, Ritual provides good coffee AND good food. Yes, it is a bit pricey, BUT, this is a locally owned business and I feel much better about investing my money into the success of this place than a giant corporation where you all know we easily spend the same, or less, and it's absolute garbage. This is a lengthy review, but it's worth it. I'm so grateful Brett opened this place up and can't wait to see them expand....
Read moreCool, Cute little Cafe. Missing a few things if you want to drink coffee without the dessert added to it. If you just want to drink a regular coffee, there are not many flavors. They also have no form of liquid sugar. So if you drink your coffee iced and you need to add sugar, you are going to be drinking sugar granules. This place could easily become a five-star cafe with some simple fixes. If you want a dessert coffee, then this is the place for you. There were fifty made while I was there, and they all looked amazing. For those of you looking to drink a normal cup of iced coffee with some type of sweetener, that isn't going to be a granule in your mouth, then you will be a little bit disappointed. Not by the flavor of the coffee. Because the flavor of the coffee was very good, but by the reaction of your mouth by sucking sugar granules. The breakfast sandwich is as advertised amazing. Somebody got the special next to me with a chicken breast on it and it looked like one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever seen in my entire life. This place has so much potential, and I'm sure it will become an absolute 5 star tar all around place in no time, with some small little tweaks. To do so, I feel like they need a few more flavors of coffee also. Good luck to the owner as he seemed like a very nice guy. I look forward to coming back and having the ability to have a little bit of Sweetener added to my coffee that is not a sugar granule. Ice coffee drinkers can't do regular sugar, as it doesn't melt. Good...
