This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while. We were sat and the first thing I did was ask for water. I asked for water twice and didn't get it until after the server brought out our entrees. We didn't have plates, silverware, or napkins until half way through our appetizer. I would like to note that the restaurant was not at all busy. There were four tables, two of which were getting ready to leave, my husband and I, and the other had to have been an employee because she brought us our appetizer then sat back down and continued eating her dinner. The food was terrible. We ordered the pad se u and veggie fried rice. We requested fried tofu with both of our dishes. The tofu tasted like it had been fried a week prior and left in the fridge. A couple of the pieces of tofu legitimately tasted like chewy wet socks. The pad se u and fried rice had zero flavor. Everything tasted really old. We also ordered a scorpion bowl to drink. The scorpion bowl tasted like the big jugs of red Hawaiian Punch with rum and it made both of our stomachs upset. I will never come back to this place and I will always refer to it as the worst dining experience that I've had in...
Read moreTried this place for the first time and will be the last time. First off, a Buddha "theme" does not create more of a Thai/Asian environment. Ordered papaya salad, and did not even taste like authentic som tum, which is supposed to be made by mashing the ingredients in a mortar and pestle. It was just papaya on a bed of whatever they used for the sauce which tasted weird and soapy. The soup tasted just okay, and beef salad barely had any meat in it. Drunken noodles just tasted like regular stir fried vegetables. There weren't any other Asian customers so I'm sure the way the food is prepared is more catered to non-Asians since it lacks authenticity. It was the first actual meal I had for the day and normally that would make a person want to eat all the food but it didn't. this is one of the places you had to drink alcohol to be able to even eat anything. I am southeast Asian and have had thai food and there are plenty of Authentic thai restaurants around that serve food that tastes like what it is supposed to taste like. I was looking forward to having another new place to go to and was thoroughly...
Read moreI don’t typically rate restaurants, to be honest this is the first restaurant I have ever rated only because I was so disappointed. Anyway, had a craving for Thai food so I decided to give this restaurant a chance. I ordered take out and had the Excursion Seafood. Yes, I noticed the price was a little high in comparison to other local Thai restaurants in the area. What a disappointment, trust me when I say don’t waste your money, instead go to Lemon Grass a few plazas away. I paid close to $20 for a bowl of watery high salted soup with very little seafood.....yes I mean very little seafood. The dish only had two small pieces of shrimp, 3 mussels and what seemed to be cod fish shredded with more onions and green peppers than anything else. Long story short, I took a few bites with the half cup of dry jasmine rice I paid for and threw it in the trash. It’s to bad you can’t post without a star because this restaurant...
