The waiter we had was GOD AWFUL.

Bad service due to the following: Approached about our drinks timely, but then right away asked if we were ready for food order. We had practically just sat down so I politely say I need a few minutes. Welp, a few minutes turned into a very long 15+ minutes to even come back to take our order. She never came back to us ( except for entrees delivery) but instead attended the other table VERY well. (mind you the restaurant was pretty empty overall) we were waiting so long for our order to be taken that eventually the manager noticed and he came over to FINALLY take our order. I did notice that other table arrived AFTER us, got their food before us, and they left by the time we were mid-eating.

A different waiter brought our apps.....(our table was eventually full of empty app plates, so when original 'not good' waiter brings our entrees, she was about to walk away without removing the tons of empty plates. I mean come on now ! Common sense would show there is no room hardly! I had to ask her if she wouldn't mind taking away these empty dishes.. she seemed annoyed and we were never checked in on ever again. Completely ignored!!!. the food was good 👍 BTW....but I was getting full and thought we'd be approached about to go containers, but nope. It took ME to notice that 1 customer went up to their iPad to what I then learned was paying. So I finally tell my partner to go up and ask about a box and to just pay the damn bill so we could finally leave.

Take away notes: the food was great but Some basic communication about how the restaurant operates would of been nice. This place seems to operate on a hybrid proper sit down restaurant/casual DIY restaurant style and honestly it's a bit confusing. That 1 Server we had needs a full training on how to wait on tables because it made the experience uncomfortable.

The Latin music playing was great and there is a wide open floor plan in the center I'm assuming if people wanna dance a bit on a lively night?

With the horrible service but great food, we just would not recommend the Warwick location but instead try another location.

Had I paid I would have left zero tip but they got lucky my partner paid and left 15% and even that I felt...

Wanting to try this place for months, I finally stopped here for lunch and ordered four tacos. Holy Burrito, what a mistake that was.

I'm way more inclined to believe the 1 and 2-star reviews, than the 4 and 5-star reviews. Or, this place is horribly inconsistent.

First, they don't serve tacos on hard shells. Wait ... what!? Never heard of a taco place that doesn't have hard taco shells. As our pres sez, "C'mon, man!"

So I'm forced to get them as soft tacos. I asked for ground beef, shredded cheese and lettuce ... normal stuff for any taco, right? Except, on top of the $10 for the tacos, they charged me an additional $2 for the cheese; $2 for the lettuce; and $2 for pico de gallo (which I didn't even ask for!). Talk about how to nickle and dime the customer to death.

Between the tacos, a soda, tax and tip (I hate feeling obligated to tip for takeout, but it seems to be the new normal), the tab came to $23!! Used to be able to get a dinner at a nicer restaurant for that amount, not so many years ago.

I was glad I was getting it to go, because the music in there was blasting. Instead, I ate in my work truck.

But the worst part, besides the price gouging, was that the tacos were a bland, mushy mess. I'm not being the least bit hyperbolic when I say that Taco Bell makes way better tacos then this place. One...

Jefferson Blvd location Warwick. Ordered the Birria Tacos and Street Corn. Both were very good. However, my concern was not with the food, atmosphere or service. The food handling is less than to be desired. The woman that was preparing my food wiped the cutting board with a towel to clear from the previous order. Took my corn off the grill with her bare hands and no gloves, garnished the corn with her bare hands, wiped the cutting board and knife with the towel and wiped her hands with the same towel. Then took my Birria Tacos with her bare hands placed them in the to go box, took the cheese dangling from the side of the box with her fingers and put it in the box wiped her hands with the dirty towel and garnished my food with her bare hands. No gloves and no proper sanitation for handling prepared foods. Same dirty towel used for everything. Unfortunately, even though everything tasted great, I will not...
