Mis Tres Flores — Restaurant in Waseca

If I could give Mis Tres Flores 10 stars, I would. Not only has this been my husband's and my favorite restaurant in town for years, Mis Tres Flores also catered our wedding of 175 people. Pablo and Lucy (the owners) were INCREDIBLE. For our wedding, we hoped to create an amazing event on a budget, with Mis Tres Flores' help, we absolutely accomplished our goal. They were thorough, helpful, friendly, beyond fairly priced, and even came out to the venue the day before to make sure everything would flow smoothly. Day of - they arrived early, served, and helped clean up afterwards. We had a taco bar with al pastor (a huge hit by the way), pulled chicken, fajita veggies, and rice and beans. I went here a couple weeks ago for the second time ever, the first time was when they first opened years and years ago, the food was great, portions were huge, and the price was extremely affordable. Now the portions are 1/3 the size they were, the prices are more expensive than other Mexican restaurants in town, and the food wasn't very good, the rice tasted off, and I got sick from the food later that day and had a stomach illness for about a week after going here. I do not recommend this place compared to how it used to be, I'd go to other Mexican restaurants instead, I was excited to try this place out again and was just left dissapointed and in pain. We went to the ice cream counter instead of the restaurant. The ice cream lady gave good service and was polite, patient explaining some of the more unique menu items and she was also very efficient with serving everything. I was surprised with the homemade ice cream that had a lot of flavors some like coconut, mango and guava that I have not seen this far North before. We had their ice cream, I had strawberries and cream and the other order was a Mangalonia (not sure of spelling).
