We visited on a Monday at noon. There was plenty of space and we were seated and served quickly. The coffee was way better than most cafes, but I had to ask for non-flavored creamers and, by the time I got some, my cup of coffee was cold. My group of 3 ordered a big salad, a breakfast combo, and I ordered a BLT. My BLT was really disappointing. The bacon was extra crispy as requested, which was great, but the tomato was hard and white and dry. It tasted so bad, I had to take it off the sandwich. Anyone who knows anything about BLTs would know not to use a tomato like that. The tomato is kind of important. I thought I was getting fries with my BLT, but they were small potatoes that were pretty soggy. Luckily, my wife ordered something called blueberry bread, which came with frosting and was to-die-for-delicious so I ate that. The rest of the food we ordered was very good and I will give this place another chance :)

As an out of towner just passing through Jonnie’s was a little hard to find (it’s a mixed use building, head straight to the basement). Also it popped up in my search for coffee shops so was expecting counter service, but turns out it’s a sit down place. Not a problem though, service was fast and they had a cozy little area probably best described as a reading nook where I sat and ate, food was good as was the service. Would recommend

Had the Veggie Panini today with a Casesar side salad and it was all so amazing. Holy cow... that veggie panini was phenomenal! Staff was friendly, and the place is just about the coolest looking place I've ever seen.

If you haven't been here before you might get confused getting in there. It's in a big building with three different restaurants. We accidentally walked into a bar first and they told us it's in the basement. It's really more of a sit down restaurant than an internet coffee shop like they advertise. The food is excellent, and the coffee is good (not up to West coast coffee snob standards, but decent) and the service is great. The atmosphere is quaint, country without being overly cluttered or claustrophobic... It's a daylight basement. My only real complaint is that the WiFi wasn't great. It kept dropping out and I had some important work I needed to finish, online forms, and I kept losing my data and having to start over. If you want a great breakfast or lunch with tons of choices and good service then this is your place, but if you need good WiFi and want the whole organic coffee shop experience, go to The...

Not sure what has happened here. We have always enjoyed coming here for breakfast. Today we waited for 15 mins to be seated. Only appeared to be 1 person to take orders, money and bus tables. We were patient and waited for her to check out at least 8 other customers. Once seated we ordered beverages and continued to wait. After sometime with no beverages and our food order not yet taken, we saw the server pick up a plastic bin in what appeared she was going to bus tables. At this point there was her and two other employees standing by the register talking. We decided rather than waste more time waiting we would leave. Got up and said goodbye to them. One of them said "sorry". We did not have a good experience the last time we were there but decided to give it another try as everyone has an off day. Sad, we always told others to go here as they had good service and food. Not so...
