Club 57 — Restaurant in Waseca

Always a five until COVID, so, let's get back in the game guys, was our favorite place. If you're lucky enough to get a waitress/waiter, or get served again if they stick around, which was never a problem for my family, then, good luck enjoying the overpriced uncooked meals (now).. Here's some examples. Waitress drops a chicken wing on the counter and leaves it, forgets to put food in the fryer, serves it frozen. When confronted nicely says "oh yeah that's what happened" and leaves it at that and walks away. Never in a million years was it like this.This place has outstanding potential. Not to mention it's a great place for the town to get together and start enjoying 'post COVID' meals and drinks with friends and family again. Another time... More recently, ordered onion rings for $7. Get seven seemingly frozen and boxed, as skinny as a pencil, and as small as an eraser... That's a dollar each.... Then another time this, and another time that, etc. We have tried to give the place another chance for a year now... We love'd the bar and food and service, e.g. circa 2018 until covid..It's the first place we came to when we moved to waseca during Christmas time. The whole town was there. Trains were lit up. Families were eating there having a good time ...Everyone was happy... and it just seems like that's all gone now with no effort to improve...it may be hard to get good employee help.Understand.. But how was it done before? That was consistent. They used to be outstanding. The owner seems like a cool guy so it's really sad. We keep going. Hoping things have changed...every...

My fiancé and I walked into this restaurant around 7 PM and were surprised at how quiet it was, not busy at all. There was no “Please wait to be seated” sign, so we assumed it was okay to seat ourselves and found a table after walking around the bar area. It was clear the staff saw us come in, but no one greeted us or acknowledged us for quite a while. We sat for about 10 minutes with no service, and during that time we noticed a few staff members giving us what felt like dirty or annoyed looks, especially one woman with long dark hair, who gave us a particularly unpleasant expression. It made us feel uncomfortable and confused about whether we had done something wrong. Just as we finally decided to leave, someone started approaching us with menus, but by then the experience had already soured. It was disappointing, especially since it wasn’t busy and a simple greeting or acknowledgment would’ve gone a long way. We were looking forward to trying this place but unfortunately won’t be...

Stopped in after some Black Friday shopping to relax and grab a beer. We have been here before and the food has always been great with last nights food continuing to impress. What caught my eye this time though is the impressive craft beer selection! They even had Bourbon County Brand Stout on tap!! Great way to cap off a long day of shopping with great food and great beers. If you live around the Waseca area and are looking for a place like this, take the drive, you wont be...
