A gorgeous modern gallery space in downtown Waseca, the Waseca Art Center is a gallery space that recalls other modern art spaces: clean, crisp spaces, excellent lighting, and high ceilings, with plenty of space to show artists work of a variety of sizes and shapes. My recent visit was to the opening of a collaborative show between MNSU alums Abby Daleki and Hope Thier, and it was a wonderful evening put on by the gallery! Whether you are an afficianado of the local arts scene, an artist looking to show work, or just a curious party interested in taking a peek at what the space has to offer, I can't possibly recommend visiting...

I do think they could open up to other artists, local or abroad, that have a lot of talent, but don't have a degree in art, or related degree. A lot of great talent is being ignored because they don't fit the criteria for an "artist". Might get more visitors, outside the art...
