Situated in the old Big Boy building, this restaurant is a vast improvement to the local eatery scene for this small town. The food is excellent, if not a bit pricey. The selection for eating is massive where you can order Benedict's to full dinner portioned meals. The best coffee I've ever had served in attractive cups with a dish. I've yet to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal (been here a few times) but that's only because they close at 3pm! They are apparently short-staffed, which is a very big shame as the alcohol with a meal drives up the profits considerably. There is plenty of parking spaces as well as plenty of dining room inside. The inside is very clean, including the restroom. The servers seem a bit harried yet they are pleasant and efficient. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is served at the correct temperature and in a timely manner. The food is fresh and delicious. If you are anywhere near this area of 31 mile and old Van Dyke in Washington Township, MI - make a point to stop in and have an excellent meal...before 3pm

Dinning in a family-friendly place. It's unfortunate that they are only open until 3:00 pm daily for now. The decor is elegant, giving the feeling of being in a first-class restaurant with a small bar area that could serve some very nice cocktails if you desire. All that and yet, there were several well-mannered children present, and that indicates this is considered a family restaurant by the locals. My waitress/bartendress, Richelle, was outstanding and on top of things. I ordered the "OMG, BBQ Chicken Wrap" and a side of seasoned waffle fries. At first, when I began to eat the wrap, I thought maybe ordered the plain chicken wrap because I wasn't tasting the BBQ flavor. I just think it would have been better if it had more BBQ sauce in it. The seasoned waffle fries were not your usual seasoned flavor, but good, just the same. P.S. That pickle spear looks a little lonely. Maybe the presentation would look better with just 1 plate.

Michelle got me to a table pronto, as soon as she saw me. They are short staffed, I'd been waiting a good bit to be seated, had been up since 5 w/ a vicious migraine and hadn't eaten. I was totally off my game, so I gr8ly appreciated her whisking me into a dim corner. I rant lined the way they had the tables set up. There's a cozy little area behind the bar that was really inviting. They have 2 giant menus (1 just for brekkie), gr8 food options and you can even get an adult beverage! My waitress was a gem, and I apologize, but I didn't get her name due to my migraine fugue. I had the brekkie special: bacon done to perfection, eggs basted (never easy, they got it right) and they have grits! I haven't had them since I left Nashville in 09, so that was a real treat. Portions were very good. Quality was excellent all the way around. Yes, they had orange marmalade!

Was here for Breakfast on Sunday.. Service was very slow..Breakfast was good.. Annika who was in the hostess role today, was the only employee who was working extremely hard.. She was cleaning tables, setting up tables, sitting customers, serving customers coffee and overall just running around going 100 miles an hour and in our opinion the ONLY employee giving more than 100 percent..If some of the other employees just give her a hand, the service would be much better and the overall operation of the restaurant would run much smoother.. Give Annika a raise, it would be well deserved...She definitely would be an asset to any restaurant...

Ok, trying again for Sunday breakfast today 8-29-2021...Long wait to be seated, but hey, shortage of help..so we waited. Always want to help the little guy...Once seated, observed a few things..just pointers to help, Lucy, when clearing a table, please pick up more than one item and then once cleaned, put place setting on table/booth..it will save steps and help to move things faster..Our waitress Amy, was working her butt off while others were taking steps but accomplishing nothing..once customers are seated, maybe the hostess can walk around and offer coffee, etc..it would help the waitresses..the food is great, but staff even though short staffed could use direction, it ..would help...otherwise would again return but not for awhile, management needs to direct staff to not waste steps and to help things move a little faster and more efficient..just offering opinion to help..not complaining, but just observing...people give this place a try..stay away from chains and help the...

This was our first and only time at the restaurant 6/16/24. There was a sign that said be patient due to staffing. The hostess was awesome and very attentive. She was running circles around everyone. We put our order in right away with the older waitress. We waited over an hour and still hadn’t had our food. The waitresses were standing around waiting on the kitchen. The waitress never came back to check on us but the hostess did refill coffee twice. We had a toddler and were going to ask for the bill and food to go since the people 2 ahead of us hadn’t received their food yet either. The hostess was the only person we could flag down and she went to get the waitress and we could hear the waitress say she put the order in and to just tell us it’s coming in a snarky attitude. She still refused to come over and say anything and the hostess actually took our card and paid us out. We finally got our boxed food after an hour and a half…. The waitress lack of customer service is the reason for...
