Ria's Sweet Creations - Custom Bakers — Restaurant in Washington Township

I stopped in for the first time last week after having a bad day and let me tell you: it was the best decision I could have made that day. Everything I’ve had from them so far (granted, in the two or three visits I’ve made) has been SPECTACULAR. I’ve been buying things for my friends and family to try, I even asked for extra business cards to hand out - I’m that serious about how good their food is. The ooey gooey butter bars are to die for, the cannoli cupcake was out of this world, so were the coconut cream & banana pudding cupcakes. My manager & I have now decided that if we come into work, we have to bring a cupcake for each other from Ria’s. We are losing our minds. We genuinely, literally cannot stop talking about their cupcakes. I am on the phone with her right now, as I write this, talking about how good this bakery is and how we’re just going to special order a million and one things. I’m serious: Please, PLEASE stop in and give it a try. The women who own & run this place are so kind and welcoming, they make you feel so comfortable. They deserve the business! Also, for anyone complaining that they felt their cake or frosting was dry: let it sit out for a little bit before you eat, if you can manage to. It sits in a chilled display case, you gotta let it come down to room temp a bit. I, on the other hand, am a monster that cannot be stopped, so I will continue to eat them cold, and enjoy them...

We recently found this bakery through google searches & I’m am so happy we did! I needed 3 cakes for my mother’s birthday party, but because it was the 4th of July weekend, my usual bakery was closed. The lady’s at Ria’s were so nice & accommodating. They answered all my questions & emails quickly & never got bothered by the many emails! They made sure to explain everything to me to assure that they knew exactly what it was that I wanted & how I wanted the cakes to be done. I made & bought all the cake toppers so I just asked for the side of the cakes to have a watercolour effect on them in the colors of the theme. The cakes tasted absolutely amazing! We did a small chocolate cake with strawberry hazelnut filling, a 10” chocolate chip cake with cannoli filling, & our favorite which was a 10” coconut cake with pina colada filling!! Let me tell you they were so good, but that coconut cake was to die for! We will definitely be back for other cakes! We also tried cookies & cake pops when we went to pick the cakes up & they were delicious as well. The owner was so nice! We spent about 20 minutes just talking with her when we picked the cakes up! I found Ria's Sweet Creations through a Google search and I'm so thankful that I did! It was my lucky day. Monica and her team made the most amazing cake for my daughter's bridal shower. Her shower had a Mad Hatter Tea Party theme and the cake captured the essence of the shower. Working with Monica was a sheer delight. She responded immediately to my calls and all my requests. She also made wonderful suggestions as to the colors of the cake and the decorations on it. An actual teacup was placed on the top and Monica showed me how to do this and how to place the fondant flowers she made inside the teacup. She was totally invested in how the cake would add to the shower and truly wanted everyone to be happy with it. The cake itself, was absolutely delicious: moist, wonderful texture and flavors, and a perfect blend of appetizing ingredients. The cake was half vanilla and half chocolate and each section was equally delectable. The guests were amazed by the cake and many wanted a second piece.
