Subway — Restaurant in Washington Township

The gentleman helping us on the line was extremely welcoming and friendly. However, the lady in the back had such a nasty attitude. Came out front and yelled at him right in front of us, no hat, no hairnet, grabbing ahold of ready to eat bread with her bare hands stacking them on top of each other and using her face to hold them still. No wonder there are so many reviews of people getting sick. I worked food service for a decade I couldn’t imagine being that way in a restaurant. Also, bare hands with acrylics on ready to eat food? I’m surprised the place hasn’t been deemed a risk by the health department. THE ONLY Reason I’m giving 3 stars was because the gentleman who helped us...

Update 2: Took a 6 month break, ate there once, and had diarrhea the next day.

Are they intentionally or mistakenly food poisoning people??

Edit/update: stopped eating there for months, got one sandwich yesterday and diarrhea again. Have had otherwise normal movements for well over 3 months now when not eating Subway.

Management (or the health department) need to look into hygiene and food safety practices here.

Only get diarrhea about every 5th visit or so. I did have to stop a girl from answering the phone with her gloves on then going back to making my sandwich without changing them.

The lady working had holes in her gloves and continued to fix her hair with the gloves she was making orders with! I asked the cashier for a manger. She asked what the issue was so I explained and said how nasty it was. The lady who I found out was in charge is the one I was complaining about and in the rudest way said “I’m sorry I offended you, sorry I’m nasty”. YOU WORK WITH FOOD, don’t touch your hair then touch someone’s food!!!! Her name is Desiree (not sure correct spelling). I will be speaking to the owner. A lady I like behind me noticed too.
