Unbelievably rude and hostile. A professional restaurant addresses concerns and acts accordingly. We were not rude, we offered to pay for the whole meal despite the bad quality we received, my girlfriend has autism and struggles with social situations, today was her birthday and she wanted to go to Allie’s, they would even say happy birthday back to her.
In the past we had ordered from Alllie’s over the pandemic to support them and she had eaten there several times when she was younger
The food was not the quality we had in the past, we sent our food back to clear the table but still we were going to pay for the food we sent back, which we did. Allie's said they would charge us for the rice balls but the total was 40.09 and it would have been 37.60 if they hadn't charged us for them. I was going to pay the whole price anyway but that was just scummy.
What we sent back was The regular fries which were undercooked and tasted sour, served without salt.
the rice balls which were burnt, the outer layers of rice were hard and there was no mozzarella filling as advertised. We had ordered that over the pandemic they always looked hand made, these were small which would have been fine if they weren't overcooked.
The strawberry grilled cheese, was way to heavy on the balsamic, almost inedible, and the arugula was really just spring mix.
And the cappuccino was bitter with a very tasteless foam. A cappuccino is usually stronger and less sweet than a mocha but its not bitter. It was like big a gas station coffee.
We didn't eat any of the meals listed above, they were sent back soon after receiving and tasting them.
Of what was good, The chicken avocado sandwich was great and the sweet potato fires were perfect. We took it to go.
When I went to pay at the register the woman was noticeable angry and spoke in an aggressive tone, face was red. She said she wasn't going to charge us for the rice balls, I didn't care I offered to pay for the the rice balls to be nice because there food has been good in the past, she said she didn't know what went wrong, so I explained in a much kinder way then I have here, that the food was overcooked here undercooked there but I didn't ask for a refund.
Allie’s is definitely up there in price, the food should equal that price, which meant food should not be delivered undercooked or overcooked and should be what the menu says they are.
the customer service needs work I wasn't angry hostile or even rude for that matter. I’ve worked in customer service I know how to treat people right, our discussion felt more like she wanted an argument.
In all I paid 40.00, put really only got to eat a chicken avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries as an upcharge, they made no attempt to remake the other food I paid for.

I called to place an order, being my first time I was a little confused on some of the ordering and I was trying to place it before they close. I do not know who answered the phone but the person was very disrespectful. I placed my order and I had a question about which cupcakes they have today and the answer was "I don't have any cupcakes left, we are very busy" and she hung up on me. I called back because I wanted to know the total of my order. I didn't even get an I'm sorry. I understand being busy but this shouldn't be how you treat a customer, not even over the phone.
