First time customer. I love a good small business bakery/coffee shop and this was omy list. This bakery was amazing on all levels from the welcoming and helpful service, to the PERECTLY BAKED threats! And the prices? They were church lady bake sale.prices and these treats are top notch. I am a home baker and a cookie snob and if a cookie isn't at least a 9/10 I won't waste my calories on it. I got a half a dozen perfectly sized cookies for 10 dollars and these put Crumbl to shame. The sugar cookie the the perfect crumbly/moist texture, very buttery and not overly sweet. It was one of the best I have EVER had. The chocolate chip was equally as good, moist, a little chewy NOT too sweet, the only thing I would have changed is a dash of Maldon flaky salt on top, but I know not everyone likes salty cookies. I am.glad I got 3 of them! My husband got some homemade Chex MIx that was THE BEST party mix we have ever had! NOT overly seasoned or salty but a perfect taste and a fun crunchy mix of little crackers and chex cereal of all.kinds, some really yummy super skinny pretzels, and even a couple of Combos thrown in which is like getting an onion ring thrown in your bag of fries!😜 Definitely grab these too! Our total for 6 cookies 2 bags of crackers, 6 thumbprints, 2 pumpkin bars, and 2 texas cake bars was 31 dollars. What a great deal.for some of the best baked goods I have tried! I cant wait to go back for all their breads and muffins and bars. They also had pie squares and cupcakes and cake pops and wedding cake slices that i didnt see till i checked out or I would have had one of those too! The whole vibe is sweet and reminds me of a cute store front bake sale, but I am sure these cookies that I have tried so far can go toe to tot with any of these big city viral bakeries. I can't wait to order from their custom online menu, no reason for me to bake anymore with this new find just 30 minutes away from me! 10/10 GO...
Read moreI lived in Washington for over 30 years and have since moved to Tennessee. My mom turned 90 years in early October, and she preferred cookies over a cake to share with her friends at the retirement center. I choose Dena's bakery for cookies, because we still like to use local small businesses in the town where we lived for years. I called ordered over 5 dozen asst cookies; and asked the young lady if I could have them in a large box. I explained it would make it easier for my mom to share them her friends. She told me more than once the pumpkin bars and the lemon bars had to come in a package of two each and could not be put in a box. I thought that was strange, but she acted as if I was putting her out to do this. I went the next day to pick up the cookies and the employee handed me a regular square cake box with cookies in it. Then she handed me the lemon bars and the pumpkin bars; which were wrapped in styro foam trays wrapped in cellohane. I once again asked if I could have another box to lay the bar cookies in. She says rather rudely; she has to charge me for the box. I said "I really don't care", and tried again to explain what my goal was. She grabs another square cake box and flips it up in the air to ask another employee "how much for this box?" The other employee says "$2.50". I just spent $84 on cookies and now they want to charge me for a box. Needless to say, I paid for the box and left. I won't be going...
