The BEST bar in DC. We stumbled onto Jackie Lees when we moved to the neighborhood and I can’t believe I ever lived without it. The food is great - BBQ and “vegan junk food” vibes, and the drink selection is top. Bartenders / owners / friends - you cannot beat them. It’s the type of place I would go to alone just to hang out, or bring out of town friends to. Somehow, it also manages to be “parent friendly” where my boomer parents feel right at home, too. Lots of familiar faces every time we go - so I know I’m not alone in my opinions. Be nice. Tip well. Come back often.

Get ready to meet your new favorite bar! While attending their soft launch, I realized how special Jackie Lee's will become to this neighborhood. The owners combined the history of the bar with a new level of elegance. If I had to describe the food in a single word: Dyn-O-Mite! We had the ribs, brisket sandwich, chicken tenders, and the plate of bacon. I'm a huge fan of beer/shot combos...and Jackie's offers several options. I'm looking forward to trying the other dishes on the menu and spending several nights creating new memories.

This was a fun dive bar. Great drink specials, awesome staff and fun vibes. Theres outdoor seating and plenty of seating inside for small groups. My friends and I stopped by for their dice roll combo. Its around $11 for a shot and beer. Cant find a better deal in the city. We also had their wings, ribs, fries and hush puppies. The house made mumbo and hush puppy sauce were delicious. We had a great time here. Theres plenty of street parking in the front and neighborhood parking a block away

Fu Kee down the street was closed on the night that Capitals won Stanley cup so we went to this place. This place was jam packed thanks to hockey fans for a Thursday night but the lady manager was very rude to many customers. Everyone was in celebrate mode and they can't seem to understand that. They were sending guys out for having bottle of wine or Champlain but they weren't drinking it there. I went back in after 5 minutes i left restaurant to try to use the bathroom and she sends me out. She got a 45 dollars bill from me with 20% tip and she took money and not worried customer service to allow me to use the bathroom. This place wont get my business again even their...

I've been coming here for 3 years now, and I love the drink selection, the amazing food, and the sick atmosphere. Kind and cool people who work behind the bar/kitchen. Everything about this place's ambiance and vibe I love -- the rabbit light on the wall, the movies playing on the projector 24/7, the nintendo 64, the vending machine of the essentials, and the bathrooms. I tell all my friends how I think it is the best bar in DC hands-down. The food selection really does it for me and makes it so great. Not only is it open late, has reasonable/cheap pricing on everything, good music always, but the food selection fits my perfect mold. Never change...

I went to Jackie Lee's for the first time yesterday. The admosphere was okay for a Thursday night . Jason , the bartender whom greeter my love on and I was nice and friendly * Awesome Customer service * . The ambiance was a bit dark for my liking ( made me sleepy ). The drink that I ordered didn't taste like * Jameson * but more like the " Kirkland " brand from Costco . * Jameson * is the ONLY adult beverage that I consume so I mostly definitely know how my palate receives it's FAVORITE . I will not be rushing back there soon but I may visit again in the future . Nice inner...
