We have Been here about. ~4 times now. 2 of the times we have gotten the rib meals. 2nd to last time we got 2- rack to go orders. The food was good and hot, the sides are ok. The best part though is the RIBS they (ARE) for the most part extremely tasty and the meat easily came off the bone. We paid over $60 for the two setups we got. I had to frown that for each rack of ribs. One of the sides you can get is "biscuits" but for an ENTIRE rack of ribs you only get ONE biscuits. WTF... you have to BUY additional if you have I guess more people that might want a biscuit to go with there ribs.this last time we got a "1/2 rack" and got a measly 6 pieces of meat that did NOT come off the bone so easily. 1 biscuits, fries and $3extra for beans. AND EVEN MORE FORE "TO-Go order What's up. This place is downgrading with nickle and dimeing the customer. Even for a to go order they impromptu for a "tip" _ NO WAY.! This last time; April 23' we went in and got a to go , a "full rack" the Two sides and of course either a single biscuit or a single corn bread muffin; a large drink my total was just shy of $40. The meat was tasty and came easily off the bone, and for a full rack, you get about 14 pieces. For a 1/2 rack, you only get about 8 pieces, and it's $28. For the same exact FULL rack, it's $30 ( $2 more than the 1/2 rack), and you do get allot more for your money. We have done takeout because the facility is on the smaller side; there never seems to be a problem much access from 507 or 702 intersection. But there is just a bunch of tables in an open area. Kinda like a very small country club ;no chance for any form of remote privacy when eating; mostly back to back or shoulder to shoulder with someone;especially if they are very busy. You order your meals and pay at the counter, then sit down and wait for them to bring it out to you. Wait time wasn't long at all. This lady time. June 2025 we went in because it was evening and my truck was getting serviced at the dealership. We simply wanted a small dinner mostly to hold us over. We got 1 of there burgersW/ fries and one W/O fries and two drinks and my bill was over $40. WTF!!. It wasn't even that good of a burger, pretty plain_ Jane for such a price. I'm thinking seriously we ate done with this place. WAY over priced for what you get.

We tried it for the 1st time and it better than expected. I looked at some of their reviews and noticed people were commenting on the quality. Apparently, these customers don't understand BBQ! Bbq is not cooked to order! It's cooked for long periods prior to being served. The quality is in the preparation., which reflects in the taste. Jim Bob's hit all the flavors, preparation, and quality. Thumbs up to you, and we will be back. I joked with the gentlemen that helped us, saying it was horrible! Lol! He was quick, and said, "No returns!" We had a wonderful experience.

Great burger for $5.00! My family and I happened to be driving through town and we were looking for a place to grab a burger but didn't want McDonald's or Burger King and happened to see their sign. We were pleasantly surprised with the affordable price and the deliciousness of the burger. Thank you for this it was perfect when we wanted to support a local business instead of a large conglomerate. Way to go 😉👍🏽

Went there while they were fixing my car and I regretted it both times. The first time I went I ordered a roll and clam chowder soup. The clam chowder had a hair in it and the soup they gave me was dirty and stained with coffee or something. I went back to request new soup and utensils but it didn’t matter the soup was AWFUL. Unfortunately it was thick and goopy with chunks of potatoes no clams and it was so harsh on my stomach. The second time today I went again to fix my car and was with my little one she was insistent we try it even though I warned her so we went again I figured I could give it another chance. I ordered a cup of chili and she got a strawberry milkshake, well let’s say we paid 9.79 for nothing I didn’t eat the chili it lacked flavor and the milkshake according to my daughter was awful she didn’t want anymore after the first taste. Lesson learned never going back. This definitely is not southern food no matter how much decor or related items on the menu relay there southern. Good haven fast food had more flavor than their food...

First let me just start by saying I had very low expectations for this place considering every ok restaurant in yelm has glowing reviews. I figured it's bbq how bad could it be... hard to screw up. Boy was I wrong. I ordered the 2 meat plate and got sliced brisket for both meats. They charged double for this. The brisket was literally so dry I had to completely smother it in bbq to even attempt to swallow. I wish I was exaggerating. The green beans were canned, not what I was expecting but whatever. The mashed potatoes were actually less dry then the brisket but not good by any stretch. Not fresh most likely microwaved. But most disappointing is it says you get cornbread with every order, and I received a mini ciabatta roll, also as dry as the Sahara Desert. I rarely give a bad review but this is the worst bbq I've ever eaten in my life. And I've eaten some pretty bad bbq by drunk friends. How on earth do they have...
