I am a bit of a snob regarding chicken wings. I've enjoyed the wings at Anchor Bar and at Duff's -- both in Buffalo. Both claim to have invented chicken wings, and both have passionate devotees. In a previous life, I've many times devoured the excellent wings at Wings, Suds, and Spuds, near Pittsburgh.

While West Coast restaurants produce wonderful food, most fall short with wings. Even worse, many advertise "Buffalo Wings". Everyone in Buffalo (and all true believers) know that they're properly called "Chicken Wings". Longhorn Saloon is the exception, as their wings are equal to those of the (L)East Coast, IMO. Their wings are excellent, and come with the requisite celery sticks and choice of Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing. While the menu advertises chicken wings, I noticed that my receipt listed "Buffalo WIngs". Oops! My wife ordered the Avocado-Chicken Wrap, which was also excellent.

The only downside of the Longhorn is the music. While my music tastes are very eclectic, I consider "country music" to be an oxymoron. Even worse, it was loud.

We dined here mid-day on a Monday in late February. The handful of customers appeared to be locals. Edison, a suburb of Bow, has been discovered by tourists. Expect a dramatically different crowd during touristy times, and...

Happy New Year (Jan. 2/24) Adrienne once again was the hostess with the mostess! Our Prawns were seared to perfection, the “all flats” were delectable, and the wine was scrumptious! It doesn’t get any better!!!Another update 4/4/23: Jessica or Adrienne always take great care of us! They are both one waiter “whirling dervishes” they are!! And……..Weather permitting the back area is a new find we didn’t realize existed. Updated 2/16/23: Wow, wow, wow! The Wings! The Prawn Basket, the Burger Dip, the FRIES!! All top notch! Between Adrienne and the chef, the Longhorn is now our new favourite north of Seattle! Superb service and food that exemplifies freshness, thoughtfulness & care, you cannot do better in this part of the world, maybe even along this coast! Previous review: A great dive bar that offers up everything one would expect. Great service, good food, dive bar atmosphere, local flair. The Longhorn has its own unique "charm". You cannot go wrong, winter or summer, it's a great stopping point when you are out for a drive in this beautiful part...

The exterior is quaint and the interior looks like any other small town bar, but the people really make this place exceptional. The cooks and the servers go out of there way to make your visit memorable. Attentive service and cheerful smiles abound. Don't be scared off if there is a handful of motorcycles out front. Being located just off the scenic Chuckanut Drive, joyriders are drawn to this place just like everyone else. And if it's packed inside there is covered outdoor dining out back. Step out and enjoy looking across the Samish Basin to the tops of the San...

Oh shoot. I forgot to take photos!! We love this place!! Been coming for over 20yrs and it's still a great place!! Love the beer garden, the food, drinks and atmosphere!! Karaoke is fun, the staff is AMAZING and the only place I like to get wings!! The town of Edison is fabulous! A must explore on motorcycle or walking around! Lots of art, food and great people!! One of my favorite places in the summer time but also any time! And it's over an hour from my house!! The drive on Chuckanaut is the best!! Love it!!

Fun and funky location...with a atmosphere that can only experienced. The Longhorn is a classic old style saloon...and a local landmark. The one server did an outstanding job...with a happy face, serving a table of "mature" people. The food was tasty, ample, and hot...timely service considering one server. Discovered that this place has an connection to the famous annual "oyster run". Google it:)🥳
